Sunsets are wonderful.  In Florida on the left coast we see magnificent sunsets.

I assume your photo is 10 pm in Tver.  In January,  2 pm?  (or 12 noon in Arkhangelsk). 

A woman invited me to visit her in  Arkhangelsk to see nature.  What's there other than big mosquitoes and Aurora Borealis?

It was taken on June 27th, so if hat falls in he soltisice, I guess it was, LOL.
We have been getting some really amazing sunsets lately.
This  next one was June 16th. followed by one on June 20th. Both were taken arou 10PM. The third one was June 25th. taken a litttle earlier in the evening.

Here's some picks of a storm that rolled in late in the evenig of June 26th. at sunset.
The pics don't do it justice but I ain't no professinal photog either, LOL.

Whoa! :o   The photos would be dark (naturally), but I detect some DEEP GREEN in those storm clouds.  Very familiar with that look here in St. Louis, no doubt the reason a funnel cloud was spotted.

The clouds are formidable!  The photos of flooded streets were wild, and given the look of those storm clouds I am sure big hail and destructive winds made it an eventful night.   I would assume the lightning was ferocious.

Yeah & my finger wasn't fast enough to click the shutter in time to get a pic of it. I bet I took 50 pics of lightning & not one had lightning in it, LOL. :selfharm:
