39! You better get started with those children soon. I had my sons at 38 and 42. At their football and basketball practices and games, I was the older dad. Did not bother my sons, but one father did call me "sir". Just a polite redneck cracker who knocked up his girlfriend in high school, making him 24 years younger than me. Most important, my son could beat his son (at mathematics).

Thanks guys... and yes, My Girl had some very special words for me to "Congratulate me" on my birthday. Very sweet...

I too hope she will be here for me to celebrate the big 4-0 and if she has her way we'll a Little One keeping us awake around that time too.

Favourite gift so far??? A pasta maker... but I will collect My Girl's gift from the post office today so I am sure that will become favourite by a mile.

Judging from the card I'll have to assume RW put a lot of effort and thought into birthdays...

The only hitch is that her gift has been held up in the Australian Quarrantine Service but they kindly advise me that for a once off small fee of $42.50 (plus postage) they will be able to treat my gift with Gamma Radiation and release it to me.

In the card My Girl has described it as "Famiy Protection... a very ancient Ukrainian tradition that will preserve our home, family and love" to be exact...

I'd better send off the form with my CC number otherwise she may think I don't want to preserve our home, family and love. :kissing:
