That blog piece, along with the comments, merely illustrates what we already know. Relationships with large age differences is a 'lightning rod' topic. It will draw fire and challenge and invective any time the topic arises.

While there are those who vehemently oppose such relationships - there are obviously an equal, or larger, number who support and engage in such relationships.

I think it gets back to the issue of personal choice. As an example, I have long promoted that my personal choice of transportation in Ukraine for relatively short trips (under 6 hours - about 400 km), is to use the Autolux (or equivalent) bus system. Others will argue vociferously that the overnight trains are the absolute ultimate in comfort and convenience. Who is "right"? Nobody. It is a matter of personal choice. I will offer my arguments and experiences in favor of buses - and someone else will offer their arguments and experiences in favor of trains. The reader is the one who gets the opportunity to decide for themselves which of the two positions is more valid FOR THEM.

Why is not the choice of a large age gap similar? There are pros and cons which have been debated ad nauseum  here at RWD. Would you (the collective "you" - not meaning you personally neo) deny anyone the right to make a free choice?

BTW - I find most of your posts funny - while quite 'edgy' and right on the border of crossing a line into territory which is just a bit too 'sharp' to be productive. Your use of the term "old gigolos" is a pejorative term which some might find offensive - particularly since many of the guys here are married and not at all qualifying for the definition you imply.

i have amended the words as i dont want to cause any offence - but it was meant int he best of spirits and tongue in cheek. Im sure most of the OMB's i am the forums jester and don't mean anyone any harm by it.

appreciate my style can be a bit direct sometimes. i do try and keep it in check and not shock too much but i always try not to make things personal, because i dont like when things get directed at people. my ribbing of TG with his diaries is just a bit of banter. im sure he might smile about it if he wasnt having such a rough time.

But the women with the younger men are raely trying to screw the pensioner unless it's for cash profits?

 Just because he's old does'nt mean he has much experience in the bedroom.
