Well, the time to introduce...

Hi all,

Long time lurker here - interesting discussions happening ATM.

Little about me...36yo Aussie, business owner, father of 2 daughters living with me for 8 years, and...married to a RW for now 7 months. I have known my wife for 3 years and we got married after around 5 months of her being here which to you US guys probably seems like a better idea than your 3 month limit...but...the wedding planning was a nightmare! Maybe 3 months is better to stop her changing her mind!!

Anyway, I have done business with Russians for around 7 years and have several friends in Moscow, Rostov and Chelyabinsk - always it is nice to arrive in Moscow with a clients'/friend driver in a Merc waiting for us!

My wife is Siberian, we have had a great transistion in terms of cultural change for her (due to her extensive travels through Europe) but the only issue ATM is trying to gain a visa for her 17 yo son to come here. The father would not give permission for him to come, so, we are deciding the best approach in terms of his current education as to how and when it is best he arrives.

After I think 8 times in Russia, possibly I could contribute here - of course, time permitting. You know that life doesn't revolve the net and I suppose this is why it has taken so long to make an intro.

 Where in Siberia is your wife from? 3 of us here have ladies from Omsk.

 Always good to have another married guy around to help keep the newbies in line!

Nice to hear about your good story people are always ready to read great positive stories, our forum needs it very much you come and save it from numerous fights and cheeky  boys scandals cover them all with your lovely experience of how you got married and other things:)
