Personally, and not b/c of Putin's threat, I think Ukraine would
be foolish to join NATO. They should avoid all military alliances
and just focus on becoming a member of the EU to improve
their economic situation and economic future.....

P.S. I don't know if folks can see the full article w/o a subscription,
but if you cannot, the article does reference Putin's last official press
conference, that lasted over 4 hours, and he reiterated that if *Ukraine*
joined NATO and allowed the anti-missle radar sites to be installed
there that Russia would targe Ukraine with it's nuclear weapons.
