Application sent to Moscow.... question now

I just received notification that my application has been mailed to Moscow to schedule her meeting. Does anyone have any idea when it might be scheduled for? I was hoping early January but that my not be possible. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

When my petition was sent by the NVC to Moscow, the embassy scheduled her interview for approx. 7 weeks after receiving it, so she might have her interview before Christmas, with a little luck.

They passed December 19th last week so the odds of before Xmas are looking grim.

I always suggest being patient.  Ours took over 6 months to be scheduled.  And it required intervention by the office of a senior US Senator.  This isn't the norm, but we are speaking of the US Government...
