Hi from a new member
« on: January 12, 2008, 09:14:54 PM »
Hi everyone.
I found this site about a week ago and thought that I'd become a member. So I guess I should start with the basics. I'm a 45 year old guy, never married living in Chattanooga,Tn. I've been to the FSU twice, both times Ukraine, Odessa and Kharkov.
Before my first trip I had been writting to several RW. I met all of them on my first trip and picked the lady that I felt that I had the best connection with. We have been exclusively writing since my then. My second trip, was to see Nina this summer. I spent 10 days in Kharkov getting to know her better. She is everything that I want in a lady and so much more.
On a side note I used the Confidential Connection/UALadys agency. With all the stories that I've heard about them I never would have used them if I had read the stories first. And though I wont say that everything about them is great, I can't complain about the results.
So that's pretty much the short version. Any advise given would be greatly appreciated. thanks to everyone in advance.
Fred

Welcome Fred!

Glad the snakes didn't get you at CC. Lots of information here to help you along your way. Check out the FAQ section and ask away on anything that you are curious about.

Fred, you survived a walk through a minefield using CC. There are good women at every agency but it's not worth it for men to follow your path because the agency is not looking out for their success and there are a lot of women who are pro daters there that get most of the attention. Congrats on finding a great woman that lifts your spirit but don't let your guard down as we are all on our best behavior during the courting phase of a relationship.
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

Fred- welcome to this little corner of the Internet. I hope all works out for you and your lady. Chattanooga will be quite a shock for an RW. I find the area quite beautiful but if your woman is from Kharkov, you'll likely want to load her up and take her down I75 to Hotlanta from time to time to help with her adjustment should you decide to marry her.

I love the aquarium in Chattanooga and kept a membership for many years. Problem for a woman from a big city like Kharkov is that there is such a different feel and sometimes they think the smaller US towns are too provincial. In other words they think they are for the rednecks and people who live out in the sticks. Just keep that in mind for future reference. Now if you lived in Dalton, that'd be like living in the sticks.

Anyway I wish you all the best. As mentioned you did luck out with CC. I didn't see any good agencies in Kharkov at all when a friend of mine was there. How soon are you going back? Kharkov can be a fun place to visit but after about a week  it loses its luster to me. There are some good places to eat and it is easy to get around unlike some other FSU cities. Good university system there as well. Welcome again!

Be sure to post about your experience.
Take time to learn the language. Even a little can go a long ways...

Get off your butt and go! Don't make excuses why you can't do it, find a way to make it work! Always go with a backup plan too!!!
