Immigration process will continue to be backlogged

Oh man Billy, I give up.  The table/chart you refer to is entitled
"Table 2. Occupational Distribution of Natives and Mexican Immigrants (Percent)"
AND it's from 1999.  Most of the illegals in the US have arrived since then are are working in construction, hotels, restaurants, and landscaping.  In the SF bay area many from China and India who have have overstayed their visas and are working in tech jobs.   

BTW: Harvesting machines have been invented that will do most of the backbreaking work..including discerning ripe fruit from green...and picking it.  The machines are more expensive (initially)than human workers but if farmers and growers were willing to make the investment, higher quality jobs would be created in the manufacturing sector...jobs that Americans need and are willing and able to do.  The current system of using cheap human labor instead of technology in agriculture is an embarrassment.

But again, Billy, I give up - you win - they're all hard working fieldworkers doing work Americans won't do
