10 Observations about Finding RW Interested in You

My general observations from bouncing around Russia and sometimes Ukraine for the past six years.

1.  The Russian economy has improved, RM have some jingle in their pocket, and they are walking tall and proud.  Beautiful RW under 30 without children have plenty of attention from these RM to include paid holidays to warm climates.

2.  Many RW are also earning a reasonable income and are able to travel on their own money without RM.  For example, my fiancée’s 26-yo friend has traveled to Brazil and France in the past three months (with her mama).

3.  Although RW in their 30s and with children are not as desirable to RM as their younger cousins, these women are still particular, and justifiably so.  Favorable responses from these women to my introductory letters and Expressions of Interest (EOIs) declined from a high of about 75% in 2002 to 40-50% in 2005 to 33% in 2007, each time raising the minimum age of my search as I grew older.  And a EOI just means she is open to learning more (i. e., a big MAYBE).

4.  Women in their 40s are empty nesters or approaching it.  They have survived the difficult times and feel good about themselves.  They want a brand new life, and a man better be able to provide it.  It is not just about financial security.  Her life has not been very interesting over the past 10 years and now she craves something new if not exciting.

5.  The situation in Ukraine, except for Kiev, is still 2-4 years behind Russia, and the response in 2005 reminded me almost of the good days in 2002 when the FSU was the best singles bar in the world.

6.  Elena's Models (EM) enjoys a good reputation yet the favorable response to  my EOIs is lower at EM than other agencies.  Two reasons explain this.  First, EM's reputation has encouraged many men to join it out of fear of being scammed, so the EM women get more attention than women with other agencies.   Second, the EM women on average seem more successful and sophisticated than the average women from other agencies; thus, they have higher standards.   Also, because EM are scattered over 12 time zones the logistics of meeting a few can be difficult.

7.  Agencies in the second tier of cities after the Big Three should yield a higher favorable response rate to EOIs.  You may have to pay by the letter a few times; however, the total fees are small unless one is a keyboard Romeo.   Or you can just show up and see what happens.

8.  Even after finding a RW with whom you share some mutual interest, the need to win her heart is even higher now (or not as easy) for reasons defined in No. 1-4 above.  So repeated trips are necessary, yet this is good because you both need to know each other before deciding upon something as serious as marriage.

9.  I am the luckiest man in the world to have found my woman and for her to stay with me for six years.  And every married man says he is also the luckiest man.  So the FSU is still the best place to make your own luck even if the women are more demanding these days.  Get on a plane and find out for yourself.

We agree about 8 in principle, but our yearning and personal situations demand we pass on this.
 
My 10 (today) is....... show knowledge, understanding and interest in her personal society, and her country.  Education, rather than excessive finance, is a strong key.

Remember, you are entering a parallel universe.  Things are not quite how they seem, especially at first visit.

My observations about EM would be that the women on this site look a lot more beautiful that on other sites. That could be eventually explained by two things: EM is keen to invite beauties only, as their name suggests, and EM strongly encourages women to post the professionally made photos only. Therefore, women at EM look better than a given sample of women in reality.

Another thing is that the site is well done, and it provides an advice or guidance almost on every step a woman makes there by sending an EOI /letter or answering one. That may be convenient for those who are in need on guidance. EM, however, does not call newcomer women, despite they always ask for a phone number.

As the issue of making a woman interested in you...well, in short I'd say, if you are hardly able to attract an AW, you are probably less than able to attract a quality RW, unless you try really hard.

EM has 'done the business' twice for me, but along the way, you learn a few things........

1)  Kyiv branch.  The (owners/francishees/managers) are extremely well off (in western terms).  My lady of the time used the agency (in Podil) as an 'internet cafe', and thus maintained her profile for a year, even after she was 'committed'.
 
2)  Pyatigorsk, Stavropol Krai.  There is (apparently) a local stringer, who writes/maintains the profiles, responds with EOI, and WRITES THE INTITIAL REPLIES until personal emails have been traded.  She also maintains the profile online, even after 'commitment', as some income is derived from it.  She had to be instructed to take it down.  She is also 'wealthy'.
 
I have taken far better (human?) photos of both ladies than the brushed (old) studio shots posted.  My 1st lady is now displaying photos that are more than 5 years old, though she does look good for her age in reality.  The agency must know this.

I just checked my EM profile. They have my cellphone, but somehow they decided not to try to reach me in person at all.

I have a feeling if you really saw the inner workings of how Elena's processes women it might be different than you think.   I am not sure if I can explain my thoughts but I will try.

I think it is not that they have the most beautiful women but that they organize it so that is what you see with the greatest ease.   I have not been on their website for a while but on the right they would have a column of the most contacted gals which their computer can determine easily enough and it would be the "hottest" women.   Then above that was the new ones and you seem mostly beautiful 20's gals. 

Since I am older than some of you I can say that I received a lot of letters from gals near my age that you will never find on the home page.   I have a feeling they don't get a lot of exposure on Elena's but do get the chance to write anyone they want.

I will speculate that had Lily said she was 25 someone would have called her.   When they got Lily's info and saw she was very pretty and had a lot going they probably would list her prominently and put her on the weekly mailing.  If they had received her info and she had turned out to be fat with missing teeth and glasses  she would have been buried so deep in the system a computer guru would have had trouble finding her.

My speculation about why Elena's has beautiful women is that is is pure numbers, markting knowledge and understanding that beauty sells.

Lily is quite attractive. I think men (and women) somehow get too focused on age to the detriment of all other things.

In some ways companies like EM become a victim of their own success. I remember a friend looking at the profiles when she first started up her business. Now I think it is quite as good as before.

RW do have more options than before. I think that if you can convey your sincerity, integrity, honesty and aren't total loudmouth bore, then you still can do well. I haven't found a RW yet that appreciates a boorish or uncultured man. They might settle for one temporarily but it will only be temporary.

Although some guys think the worst of RW are wanting to leave the country out of the entire population, I think there are better choices in the FSU than at American dating sites. Not only are the RW better looking, taking care of their appearance, they seem like they're more educated than the ladies at American dating sites. Of course their are many good women in America but they are usually married and stay married.

It does seem they have, on average, better looking women than when I first looked at their site in 2004 or 5. I suspect they learned how to attract men better from the giant agencies such as Aweb. Hopefully they don't learn too much from Aweb  but it does seem like they're slipping if they aren't verifying ALL the ladies anymore.
