Rosetta Stone for Russian Available
« on: April 19, 2008, 08:17:36 PM »
You would be a fool to try to get with a foreign girl if you did not speak her language to a minimum extent.  I have Rosetta Stone, the best and easiest way to learn Russian and I can give it out for 85% off retail.

I know I haven't posted much and my Russian girl ran off but this material is great.

I can send it any way you wish. Including COD.

email or post here and MODS please don't delete.  Tryin to help everyone.  its a win-win situation here.

Actually, you have not posted here AT ALL. This is your first post - to advertise a product.

Your "Russian girl ran off" ?!? Did you post that story somewhere ?

Look - we make provisions for members to advertise, and sell, their products. Your approach, however, lacks consideration for this venue and is at least somewhat misleading (and insulting).

Feel free to send me a PM, but don't be surprised if your advertisement doesn't enjoy a long shelf-life.

- Dan

Hello Dan,

Sorry about that.  I never posted but I lurked the forums a lot except for the past few months since my hot russian girl went on vacation to Russia and lost interest in me while she was gone.

I used to call her Kiska, hence my name and if you guys have russian girls...you know what that means

I'm looking forward to hooking up with another Easten Europe or Russian girl but they are REALLY crazy from my experience and my friends experience so watch out.

So if no one is interested in this then I will not talk about it anymore.  Dan do you want a free copy (if I am able to get a few orders in, it will cover it)

Sounds like somebody's got their DVD burner working overtime to bootleg copies of protected material so it's probably more like a win-win-lose situation here  :-\

No kidding.  I recently purchased Rosetta Stone - Russian and there's a lengthy registration key that must be entered to activate the software.  Each copy has a different one, and the program will use the Internet to verify it is a valid key.  There are tons of boards out there where people have bought bootleg copies and then are scrambling to find registration keys that work.  Not only is it ripping off the software company, but the buyers are getting ripped off too.  Not that I feel very sorry for them, however.

Having bought the official high dollar Rosetta Stone, I can report, for me, it was a waste of money.

The Pimsler method is much more natural and conversational and efficient.   Costs less too.

People learn in different ways, but Rosetta Stone did nothing for me.

I'll certainly grant you that Rosetta Stone is not for everyone.  What makes it particularly difficult is that there are no English translations, anywhere.  So you're basically trying to learn Cyrillic *and* how to speak at the same time.  For instance, to teach you the word for "dog," they show you a photo of a dog and the word "собака," while a female voice says the word.  If I can stay with it, I think it will help me build a basic vocabulary of Russian words, but it will do little to help me with conversational Russian and it will certainly not help me read or write in Russian.  I'm one of those people that will stay with it until I'm nearly comatose since I had to pay so damned much money for it.  If I find I can't hack it any more, I may try the program you recommended.

I have used both Rosetta Stone and Pimsleur as well as a bunch of other programs.  All have thier good and bad points.  Pimsleur is nice because you can learn as you drive and not dedicate speical time.  If you know some of the language already I found Rosetta to be much faster at improving your vocabulary.  I probably learn new words at about 1 per 5 hours with Pimsleur and one per few minutes with Rosetta but I find it hard to dedicate the time with Rosetta and once it got repetitive I seemed to have a hard time keeping my interest level up.

Mine Rosetta Stone are not bootleg,  they all come with their own valid verification key codes that have never been used.

Installation will take 2 minutes tops.  I do not rip people off, if I was in that business I would not even send stuff out and not accept protected payment sources.  But I do send the real stuff out and have a good business going with repeat customers.

Rosetta Stone works very good. Its the number one rated to learn and is used by the CIA and other high class government offices and companies.

I accept paypal also to protect everyone
