Well it finally happened to me. I began my search almost two years ago and now she is here. It was the most amazing feeling seeing her and her daughter standing in the airport.  I think she is such a brave women and I certainly plan to not let her down she she has placed such a large amount of trust in me. I must be the luckiest man alive! I will try and post more but I am simply too busy now... Have a great day and thanks for all the help over the last year.

Now the real work begins - but you know what ?  It has been almost 3 years for the same event in my life and now my wife an I look back very fondly at the her first weeks in this country. These could be among the best days you will ever spend together - and you are building the foundation for your future with each other.

Looks like your "arrival" anniversary will be the same an my wife and son.  They remarked that Friday, the 25th was now 4 years since the fateful touchdown at Sky Harbor Airport.  I will alway remember my stepson's first words on American soil as he looked out the window at the Arizona landscape..actually it was one word: "pustoi" - meaning barren.  His attitude has changed somewhat since we moved to my native California.
