You might want to give up the whole Russian women idea.  Just a thought from reading your posts.
Thomas

My thinking, too.

Braveheart--FSU women are many times more difficult to find, understand, and live with than American women.  Anyone who tells you otherwise is spreading a myth...

Each and every one of you who wishes to post about my admitted stupidity should take a moment to look at yourself in the mirror and take a long, close look into yourself...if you have made mistakes in life, if you have made the wrong decisions at times.

Braveheart, you did say you posted your story to help others didn't you? Your mistakes were talked about to help others and now you're taking a negative tone to help yourself instead of others. There is almost a 0% chance anyone here will get involved with your ex so bringing up her name will not help many but what we can learn is what not to do based on your actions of ignoring red flags and prevent those searching to guard against any woman like your ex.

You've mentioned you were robbed yet you sent money willingly to a woman you never got a kiss from let alone intimacy. The bottom line is you never had a relationship no matter what you believe or what she was telling you. Actions speak louder than words and she was telling you that she isn't giving it up. You're a lot older than your ex and should have more life experience to guard against those younger who would want to take advantage of you. you shouldn't have allowed yourself to be duped. You don't even get the point people here appreciate the fact you told your story. Much to learn grasshopper.

She's not as clever as you're making her out to be. All she would have to do is claim domestic violence and get a free ticket to America while you get a tarnished reputation.
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

You're so wise BillyB...an ignorant man like me has so much to learn from your infinite wisdom. I know you've never made mistakes in your life and you have the perfect wife. I bow to you, Oh Master for teaching me the errors of my ways.

Dude,

Probably be a good time to step back from this for a bit. I know you feel like you're being hammered here but what you are getting is the truth and it isn't pretty or pleasant. And honestly now, did you expect that everyone would Ooh and Aah and say how sorry they are for you? Nobody here wants to see this happen and no one is pointing and laughing at you either. Fact is that you did do a lot of things that were way short of smart and while it takes a lot to step up and hang out your dirty laundry for all to see it also takes a lot to accept the reality of the situation and not turn to the dark side.

Take a couple of days off and let it settle in and down.

Braveheart,  I understand there are still a few raw nerves exposed.  Try not to take things too personally.  No one here is trying to beat you up.  You did a good thing by telling your story.  Unfortunately we don't have the woman and her story to discuss, only yours, and it would provide no benefit in this forum to discuss the mistakes that she made. So naturally, your errors in judgement and action will be the focus of the discussion.  The hope is that others might recognize the mistakes they are also currently making or are prone to make in the future.

No one here would deny they have made similar mistakes, and many have bared their souls in a similar fashion and taken the requisite beating.  You have posted your situation as an example and many will try to use it to the utmost to try to serve as a warning to others.  Again, it's nothing personal and no  ill will is intended.

In many ways, the mistakes I made pale in comparison to yours and, had I known about this forum and posted my experiences at the time, I'd still be bleeding and bruised.  I was swimming in a sea of red flags.  Still, some of us succeed at this despite ourselves, and I have been with an incredible Ukrainian woman for over 4 years now.

Braveheart,

Sad story; I just hope you are not embittered toward the entire host of RW and have wisdom enough to not label them all scammers.  One experience such as yours causes enough bruises for a lifetime; time for better experiences from now on.

Hey BravehartQ,

Thank you for sharing your story and details.  I appreciate your candidness.  Disregard the negative posts as some will attempt to find fault - somewhere, somehow, but I hope you'll re-eval the possibilities of an EE mate when ready and my best wishes to you and your future.

Thank you for your kind words! It still hurts badly even though it's been three weeks now. I'm trying to look to the future...I guess I just don't know how to go about it anymore. I thought I had done everything right but I was wrong. And I'm sure there was some bad luck...to get involved with a woman who turned out to be the worst of the worst. But I ignored the signs...and got badly burned. The money she got me for can be replaced...but replacing hope is a much harder thing...
