Still have a birth date error with interview soon

There is an error in my wife's birthdate (day is shown as "12" but should be "21"...the numbers got transposed). When I submitted my DS-230 packet I included a written note to correct the birth date but when I got the petitioner copy of the interview letter I saw the birth date is still wrong. We are going CR-1.

I could email the consulate about this error but I wonder if this will delay the interview? I could let my wife mention it at the interview but fear it could cause a temporary visa denial. Or we could do nothing and see what happens.

Any suggestions? Anyone have a similar situation? Pleae advise. Thanks.
