Munich airport and city

I will be soon making another trip to FSU.  Business, of course, but also will spend lots of time with a lady or ladies, as the case may develop.

I have been to FSU over 20 times, and generally try to go through different cities so I can spend a couple of days sightseeing in a new place.

This trip, I found a good fare and connections through Munich and have already booked.  I spend two nights and one full day there on return trip.

Anyone have advice on good prices and locations for hotel?  I usually like to stay near airport so not too far away when comes time to catch next flight . . . . just to minimize problems with traffic, labor strikes, weather or who knows what.

And what about bus tours, etc.?   I am not at all interested in the nightlife scene.

Ok Albert, now you're scaring me.  First it was Kemer after I just left there.  Now you're flying through the same city I will be in October.

I unfortunately only have time to spend the 22 hrs or so of time waiting between the flight from Kiev and the flight out the next day to SFO.

I was looking at hotels near the airport with a shuttle service, that way I can go back to the airport and ride the train into town.  I did this when in Amsterdam in July and it worked well.   I found a Dorint novotel for around 80 euros or so.

I still haven't worked out what else I might do while there.  I figure probably dinner and some time exploring, I'm not into the club scene either.

Is this a trap ?

I like the Sheraton by the Olympic Village...I have stayed there many times. But the downtown hotels are also nice becasue of the lovely sidewalk cafes and night life...even if you don't participate.

Albert, I have a driver I use there you can hire to take you to Garmash, which is the most beautiful place in Germany...about an hour drive...the castles are amazing.
