If tourist visa denied, is there a 5 year wait?

For instance, if someone applies for a tourist visa, let's say from Ukraine. It is denied for whatever reason, is there a five year wait to reapply for the other types? The K's, student, business,  ect. Len

You would be surpised at the number of girls who had been refused a tourist visa but were now going for a K-1 (a slam dunk!).

Tourist visas are a diffent animal, usually only grated to older RW (40+), those with family, and a good job or other reason as to why they would return. OTOH, we all hear of younger RW getting visas, so she might try a different approach and try again - other than the 100 USD, there's no downside.

You can re-apply as soon as your circumstances change (extra documents you can provide or extra "ties" that can prove you will return to a country of your origin)
