Girl, what you wrote in your post is a 100%  nationalism.
Come on, I lived in the SU for a very long time, was in Belarus many times
( as my dad is a Belorussian) but all you wrote IS a 200 % garbage and it is cheap.

Now THAT is funny.

You (Doll) are offended at someone expressing a strong nationalistic opinion - yet, seem to have no problems with you own expression of blatant racism.

How odd.

Sometimes, in a very broad sense, yes but usually stereotypes are derived from ignorance and/or bigotry among other things that have little to do with reality.

Yes, that`s really nationalism. But I see it as just because there are reasons for belarusians to feel kind of offended. Brothers-russians killed 51% of our population in wars of 17-18th century and destroyed cities so the they were thrown a century back in economical development. That was shocking for all the reading public when documents were published, so the educated patriots changed their opinion about russians after they read that book "The unknown war" http://www.jivebelarus.net/history/gistografia/unknown-war-1654-1667.html?page=12. (if you know belarusian language well enough) We could forgive russians tsarism and stalinism horrors because you suffered too, but killing every second is too much, you know, for the name of being brothers.  Our international policy now is friendship with Russia, so the book was not advertised very much and mostly university students read it. But these all are facts, not just emotional words like yours

As your Bulgakov says "Facts are the most stubborn things in the world" (not 100% exact quote) Maybe it`s cheap, but it`s more than somebody`s emotions. Problem is not emotions, but argumentation which you cannot give.
I don`t have an ambition to be liked by everyone. And I`m glad somebdy had a laugh - that`s healthy you know. ;)

Yeah, I can't wait until my wife gets home from work and reads this garbage.

The fur will fly!  :arguing:

GOB

Common GoodOlboy, I have about 10 untouched bottles of wine and vodka. I guess it is time to start, I just need a company and help of your wife  ;D BTW we also can invite Julia G, because according to the Belorussian Women Institute "Envila" (Project "Nadezhda") the rate of growth of teen and female alcoholism takes the lead over the general rate of alcoholization in Belarus. The causes of growing rate of female alcoholization the specialist see in mentality changing  ;D Belorussian doctors sound the alarm.
http://www.envila.by/investigations/hope/enterprise/healthy_way/drunkenness/

What was written by Julia could be written only under alcohol influence (mentality changing  :D)  Please don't be harsh with her.  I guess I will send her a bottle to take a hair of the dog that bit her  ;)

Alcoholism is rampant in Belarus. In 2007, doctors registered 178,000 alcoholics in the country -- 4,000 more than the year before. In the past five years, the number of female alcoholics has risen from 7,000 to 46,000.

So some of you hold a grudge after more than 300 years? Seriously, there are more important things in life than carrying a grudge for people that are dust against perpetrators that are also dust. Or would you like to continue unnecessary killing for pointless revenge?

You said you were educated right?

Also they derive from mentality reserches, which include serious authors who make research on such material as tales, legends and another sources that illustrate the peculiarities of so called "national soul", statistics (female alcoholization may really occur more and more but  making a hint I`m alcoholic is worth complaining to admin ;) Anyway have you compared russian alcoholism rates with ours? :D

Reeeeeow!  I can hear claws scratching across 15 time zones...  Not that you intended to pick a cat fight, but man oh man, that's a great start...  popcorn and video recorder ready!

Seriously, if I ever needed to search again, Belarus would be on my radar as well.  As would many of the more western East countries.

I have never had the long "claws" What what a pity! Guess it is consequence of 7 years in a musical school. Are you going to have beer or soda with  popcorn? BTW I have 2lb of lightly salted pistachios  ;D Of course if it will not damage your diet  ;D  :)

That's why I said "sometimes" and "in a very broad sense". But usually not.

And I didn't mention anything about alcohol although I'm starting to think otherwise.

I thought you were supposed to be an intelligent educated (medical?) student, and yet you generalize and stereotype like few others I've read before. Please, enough of this silliness.  :cluebat:

SeriouslyJaded, yes she is  ;D I suppose one of her favorite books is a Russian book "School of a bitch" that she recommended men to purchase. Otherwise how she would know  ::)  ;D  I think I need to order that book, for self education  ;D

A little  :offtopic:

Wow... Isn't this "fresh"

Doll I read your post's (Russian Women's Forum) about LAW and your descriptions of LAW.

You are a racist. Period.

You claim to work as a school teacher?

If any of your "writings" about LAW were presented to the school board that supervises the district you teach in, you would be fired/terminated immediately.

Speaking of racist's, I was in a car the other day with a "friend" of mine. He was listening to the radio. The name of the show was Rush Limbaugh. Well, I haven't listened to Mr. Limbaugh for a LONG time. I was shocked at how much "racism" he is preaching on the radio.

For some reason I though about YOU and LAW when I heard this piece of racist crap. I have found it on the internet and posted it here for your pleasure Doll, enjoy!
