When she was here this past winter she drove my car and really enjoyed doing so.

Funny story.
My wife had been here in the GoodOl' USA a couple of month's and was progressing very nicely with her driving skills.
We were at WalMart, in broad daylight, practicing her "parking" skills. The parking lot was almost empty. My wife is very carefully driving up and down the parking lot isles and I am pointing at tight spaces that I want her to try and park in (like between 2 cars). Next thing...Blam. This jack*ss (Cuban) slams into our drivers side (both doors) and rocks us pretty hard (T-Boned us).
Without hesitation, I grabbed my Marina and told her to climb over my lap and get in the passenger side
NOW!
I could tell by the look on her face...she was dazed and confused.
Not an easy task in a 2003 Chevrolet 4Dr. Cavalier, BUT...She did it and I squeezed over behind the wheel.
Well the WalMart security guy on the golf cart shows up at the scene and calls the police.
My airbag never deployed (thank God) and I was able to eventually get the door open (bent up) and see if the village idiot was OK.
Well, he had been drinking (middle of the afternoon) and when the police arrived we found out he had NO insurance!
The Police hauled him off in handcuffs and towed his car.
After a lot of cr*p my wife's car eventually got fixed.
If my wife had been caught behind the wheel with no driver's license and no insurance coverage.......well I think it could have been a really "bad day".
Good Luck!
