At no point did I EVER express that I wanted to date someone that young. My desire to not BE an IDIOT far outweighs ANY concern I have for APPEARING TO BE one. You want to date that far out of your age range, just go ahead and enjoy yourself.

Also, I simply said Putin set a good example. In Ukraine, Yatsenuyk does the same, as does the makeup of both the Duma and the Rada. If you want to continue your debate (with yourself), examine chronologically arranged pictures of the FSU leadership over the last 40 years.

In short after five years of marriage social implications, his health issues and us generally being in different stages of our lives become too much. Granted there was financial problems as well. I now only consider men my age.

Bitter? No, I made my bed and I lay in it. All things considered I feel fortunate. My life is the product of the choices I have made, no one to blame (or applaud) except myself and I don't do that (well I do applaud myself, I think everyone should) as it is a colossal waste of time and energy.

I've got a Japanese friend who has the same hangup about age differences.   He's 50 but looks at least 10 years younger and he's in great physical shape.   He's convinced there is a 20-something woman out there who's interested but you know what?   He's still lonely. 

When I was on a the hunt for a woman I was willing to consider women who were 20 years younger but anything beyond that was pushing it.   I'm 58 and I can pass for a guy several years younger.  I was approached by a couple of 39 year old women who were interested.  I'll have to admit that I was flattered but the attraction wasn't magnetic. 

I have an 11 year age difference with my FSU hottie.    I didn't want to tell her how old I was for a month after I started dating her because I was afraid she would be like AW and stick to a narrow age difference range.  She convinced me that she really didn't care about this and our age difference is never a topic of discussion. 

If you're concerned about wrinkles, cellulite, and certain body parts sagging, this will come eventually to any woman you have.  If the lady in question doesn't have them now she'll have them at some point even if she works out 5 days a week.   The lady you met on the inside and fell in love with will likely always be the same.

Many AW will date and marry older guys.  AW will even date and marry younger guys.  This happens a lot in the USA. 

You talk to divorced AM and the majority will say AW have a lot of issues.  Also, use the fat card.

You talk to divorced AW and the majority will have bad things to say about AM.

There is no country in the World that has a better looking and personality of women in its top 1% of its population than the USA.  The problem for many AM is their not qualified to date the top 1%.   But these AM if they worked on improving themselves - getting a better job, going to gym, gaining confidence, learning some simple dating tricks, growing some b...alls.  could date the top 1%. 

But probably 15% of the women in Ukraine would be better than the top 1-2 % of AW.  But this causes many AM to date out of their league and they would be better marrying and living in Ukraine.

11 years isn't much of an age gap when you are talking about people "our" age. A woman who is 47 and a man who is 58 are pretty much in the same place in life. I wouldn't bat an eye at that.
