Expat Discussion Boards for Ukraine, Russia, Eastern Europe

Can anyone recommend discussion boards that are comprised of expats living in these areas?  This board is great, but I am looking for info not dealing with the MOB industry.

Like Ed mentioned above, redtape.ru is very good. Also expat.ru is very nice for everything from local (Moscow) directories to restaurants, jobs, etc. RussiaClub.info is decent and AlloExpat.com/russia_expat_forum/ is so-so for job listings, finding a roommate, etc.

The best Moscow jobs include the English version of careercenter.ru which is a service of The Moscow Times newspaper and the best hangout to find other American professionals is perhaps the Starlite Diner (fun American food) and they have a website at starlite.ru and there is an English button at the left of the page, midway left center.

If you happen to speak to a Russian about the .ru designation don't call it "dot r u." It goes by the simple nickname "rooh" as thats the sound it makes in Russian. Drop the word "dot" and just say "rooh."
