Simple Maxx, I don't regard it as informing on myself to clearly state/affirm/attest that there is nothing in the public record regarding previous criminal convictions.

There is a good deal of difference between not incriminating myself of an unproven crime and acknowledging that I have or have not been previously judged guilty of crimes.

While I am very unhappy with my government's interpretation of the 2nd Amendment, occasionally unhappy with the lack of common sense reflected in interpreting the 1st and 10th Amendments and dearly wish we provided government revenue through taxing commerce as originally intended, I am most definitely not prepared to mount an insurrection or even get into an advanced rant on the subject.

We are having our brush with leftist, liberalism/socialism and will see how the American public takes to it. My guess (hope) is that it will be rejected and we'll return to a more centrist POV. In the meantime, we endure and hope for change. We'll see.

That is what got us here in the first place. An acceptance that the limitations placed on the government and the inalienable rights of it's citizens can be fudged with. Make him fill out a form by such and such date if he doesn't want to go to jail. Force him to disclose his personal information to foreigners. Tell him he can only peaceably assemble in designated free speech zones. Make him register his guns as if he is a convicted sex offender. If he becomes too vocal put him on a no fly list. It goes on and on and it all starts with being centrist.
