Who of you all, whom have married a Ukrainian have put a lock on the "Lovers Bridge" in Kiev?

I've been on the bridge. Interesting and old locks people have put there.

my fiance and I went with friends of ours who were leaving that day with visa in hand they placed there lock and we toasted to them as they threw the key over the edge.  It was a very interesting site. Some of the oldest locks I saw had to be 30 or 40 years old some you couldn't read the dates on but there were literaly thousands of them on that bridge.  Alesya made me promise that when I returned to bring her home that we would place one of our own there while in Kiev for the K1 interview.  It was the first time she had even seen that bridge and she has been to Kiev hundreds of times.  Maybe its good luck that she hadn't seen it before LOL.

I have been to the Kyiv site a couple of times.
There is also such a site in Kharkiv, but with much fewer locks on it.

I found it a bit touristy.
