VWRW:  I thought it was an attempt to be sarcastic because checking the vagina for hidden razor blades is a paranoiac precaution, which is the opposite of acting in rational manner.

Pitbull:  I suspect this poster may very well be serious  Sad

Yes, I am very serious.  It is well known that some women can insert razor blades into their vagina in such a way that it will never harm the vagina, but will shred the unsuspecting penis.

Luckily, most of we men learned of such things during our days of basic training in the military.  We also learned to watch out when the innoculations were being given, because sometimes an angry medic would use a square needle and stick it in your testicles; if you weren't wary.

Pitbull, you used to be fairly bright.  Have you been taking dumb pills?  Or just lashing out any way you can at something you don't like?

If you go to that link, you'll note that most of those cities don't yet have metros.  They are in the planning stages.

I disagree with your analysis.  Most (if not all at this date) do have metro systems in the broadest definition with the associated metro stations.  And most are also building and planning extensions.

Why was I so sick in the stomach when I was reading the OP posts? Seriously?

This apparently has happened to several here.  And believe me, you haven't read nothing  - - - yet!

Therefore to help stem this coming epidemic, I suggest the following for all such afflicted persons:

1) Stop reading my posts.

2) I know you cannot do number 1 (Not even if you try.  You can put me on ignore, but you still will not be able to resist the urge to peek back); so alternatively check out the definition of masochist and think about working on that situation.

3) Realizing that you simply cannot do 1 and/or 2 then

a) Stock up on acid inhibitors such as Tagament, et al.
b) Stock up on acid reducers such as Mylanta, et al.
c) Make appointment ASAP with a gastroenterologist.

I guess I was used a lot I spent more than $500 dollars on dinner and concerts numerous times first date.  Was my choice.  $200 for dinner for two in Kiev is not much with good wine.  Than private table later at disco or concert.

OK I have duly noted that, out of the several pages I have typed here, several (many) have decided to hone in on one small paragraph wherein I wrote about cost of a meal.

I now realize that was a mortal sin that cannot be forgiven by some, and will endlessly allow others to brag about their free spending.

I have decided to wear a hair T shirt for the rest of the week.  And I will tell of this sin at confession; sometime after I adopt Catholicism.

You're probably just paying too much for the wine  ;D

I guess we all have our comfort level.  I didn't think too much of the $ 250 dinner in Moscow with one woman but the next evenings tab of $ 560.00 did bother me.  Everyone has their own comfort level.  Mine must be somewhere between $ 250 and $ 560.  Frankly the best dinner I ever had in my life would not be worth $ 560.00.  After dinner the gal wanted to go listen to some music at a place with a $ 250.00 cover charge.

I can pay 10 bucks for a 2 person meal at MickyD's and be mortally PO'd or pay $500 to feed the same two at a white table cloth restaurant and be completely satisfied. It's the complete experience of the meal and how it relates to the price for me personally. I don't mind paying the higher price if the quality and the "experience" was worth it. Fine dining is an art and something to be savored and enjoyed. There are also expectations from Mickey's for 10 bucks worth of cheeseburgers IMO

Yay, I am still fairly bright since I am the one who suspected you are seriously checking vaginas for hidden razor blades.  8)

I'm not really lashing out, just expressing my amazement at one the finest specimen of the "MOB industry" clients. I guess examples like these provide me with the same sort of creepy fascination as people used to get from paying to see "hairy women", "Siamese twins" etc. at a traveling circus.

Day 3 Cautious Sensual Gal (CSG)
« Reply #84 on: June 07, 2010, 10:56:36 AM »
Day 3 Cautious Sensual Gal (CSG)

Without exception, all of the ladies I had corresponded with had said they would come to a location very close to my apartment building.  But now, I was starting to know my  way around this city, so I could branch out in terms of places to meet.

Met with CSG at 10 AM at a prominent landmark near a transit station.  Readers will readily note the C part of her name, but won’t learn about the S part of her name until several posts further on.  5 feet 7 inches, 119 pounds.  WOW what a body.  Said she, her mother, and grandmother were naturally slender and she could eat all the sweets she wanted and never gain a gram of weight.  Just my type of gal.

She was wearing the low cut skin tight thin blue jeans that the teenage girls wore. (Later found out that she and her teenage daughter shared much of the same clothes). Some sort of a double layer of black tops or sweaters, with slip-on shoes of low to medium heel.  She had very straight and pretty good looking teeth; olive complexion with no makeup and none needed.  Beautiful jet black hair and gorgeous light blue to grey eyes that looked to be as big as quarters; I looked into them a lot!!

CSG had called herself XXX on the dating website, and the first thing that she said upon meeting was that her name was not really XXX but instead YYY.  I smiled and said I had assumed her name wasn’t XXX because that was an American name.  CSG said she didn’t want her students to be seeing her on a dating site.  I said that I understood perfectly, but asked why she had not told me before during the later stages of our email  correspondence.  She just simply said: I don’t know.

It had been a curious process in selecting and corresponding with CSG.  First, she did not even post a picture with her profile.  But, in my search engine, the 5 feet 7 inches, 119 pounds with English sent the bells clanging.  She was surprised that I had contacted her with no picture.  Good for me, because apparently she had few contacts from men.

Then, when she did send me a first picture, she was mostly hidden behind a large flower and had sort of a forlorn look on her face.  My guy friends advised me to dump her. But I could see the slender body and sensed she maybe just was not photogenic. Finally, just a week before my arrival, she sent 3 more pictures of her with her teenage daughter.  Oh my, what a beautiful face and smile; for both of them.  So my patience had paid off.

And, she had been an inconsistent correspondent.  She sent her first reply to me very late in the process.  But it was an excellent letter.  Then after a couple more quick  exchanges, she disappeared again.  This time her excuse was that: first her computer crashed and second her direct email messages to me bounced back.  However, she did take the initiative to recontact me via the dating site.  We got the email thingy re-established.

Then she bombarded me with a very long email filled with KGB type questions about many facets of my life, dwelling situation, etc.  She even asked me to send her a floor plan of my house and then sent follow up questions about why it was so big for one person, why was the laundry room so big, did all American houses have laundry rooms, why two fireplaces, etc.  I never told her (or any of the women) that I actually have houses in 3 different states.

CSG was a biology (or perhaps something else for the Sherlockian readers) professor.  However, she spent most of her time now, and earned most of her money, giving private English lessons.  So how did that happen, I asked.  She said that about 13 years ago, when her son first started with English at school, she determined that his teacher was terrible and the books were also terrible.  So she dug out her 10 year old English texts, materials, etc., and started working with him.  Soon, he was getting top scores in his class, and other parents asked her to work with their children.  This lead to a very thriving business for her; but also took up tons of her potential meeting time with me.  She also had a daughter (with excellent English of course) two years younger than the (now) near adult son.

She had to be with students, either at University or private, every week day from 2 PM to 8 PM and on some hours during Saturdays. But, since my time was quite flexible, this 10 AM time worked fine for me.  I had asked her before if she wanted a breakfast and she replied she only wanted tea.  So I had eaten full breakfast earlier.

We walked only about 3 minutes to a very nice restaurant I had spotted earlier and sat in the outdoor patio area.  We both ordered green tea.  The tea was excellent in a large glass pot for each of us.  Had some sort of flower with stem floating inside.  A nice thing about the restaurants in this part of the world is that they never seem to rush you.  So we stayed there for close to 4 hours only drinking our tea and chatting.

As an English teacher, she knew quite well the value and efficiency of English for world travel and business.  So I was quite surprised that she launched into the standard questions about why I did not know or want to learn much of the local language.  In fact, in some respects I judged her to be sort of feisty and looking to argue about many things ‘American.’  I wondered a bit why she had even wanted to meet with an American.

CSG had a quite nice smile and used it often.  However, I sensed she was, in general, not very happy in life and quite cynical.

She also asked me a lot of questions about my family, my work, general living conditions in USA, etc.  At times I sort of felt like she was just using me to broaden her knowledge for some other purpose . . . but who knows during these first meetings.

As we were getting ready to put her back on the transport system around 1:45 PM, she was very helpful in checking out some phone and internet cards at the nearby shops.  I told her I would like to see her again in two days at the same time, and again four days later on a Saturday after 4 PM,  if she wanted.  She replied that she very much wanted to meet again and that I should send her SMS to confirm tomorrow.

I stood and waited while she entered the transport unit.  She waved and flashed me a beautiful smile . . . so all was well in my world.  Two very promising possibilities in a row now.

I pretty much knew Music Gal was a keeper and had high hopes for CSG.  The meeting with CSG had not been the total success I felt with MG.  But CSG’s body, general looks, smile, English skills, probable high intelligence, etc., were so great that I hoped her seeming cynicism would lessen over time.  And it was too early to even call it cynicism; perhaps a caution that she is projecting to keep her emotions in check.

Mars,

I find it odd that your approach and mine overlapped to some extent.   In 2006-2007 I dated women in this 40-47 age group whom I found on the same listing services that you listed.  As you did, I subscribed to these services for only one month other than EM which was for 6 months.

I spent a lot of time on the telephone before meeting them.  I eliminated many based on "chemistry" and values/goals. So I probably met fewer than you presuming your list is long.

A fancy dinner was fine with me, and I spent as much as $250 in Kiev and Moscow (evidently Kievstar at $500 is a wine aficionado, if not the "world's most interesting man").   However, my fancy dinner happened not on the first meeting but on the 3rd or 4th, which would not occur unless all 8 cylinders were clicking.

Some of you are critical of the way Mars seemingly stresses physical appearance.  To you, I say leave him alone:

1.  Knowing Mars, he will have a long analytical list of criteria for qualities other than physical beauty.

2.  Whatever criteria he uses are his personal choices.

3.  It is important to be who you are, including using the criteria that make you happy.  Surely none of us would suggest that Mars be anyone other than himself.  The proof is in the pudding.

If women didn't exist all the money in the wotld would be meaningless.

My dear Velena, it is obvious that you have never spent time with men who have money, real money.  The money they spend on women is small compared to what they spend on their other toys.  And please don't think that such men buy those other toys for the purposes of attracting women.

Not knowing this, means you have never been a rich man's toy.  Good!

As she ascended the stairs ahead of me, I could see for first time that her thin silk trousers were nearly transparent (in this particular lighting) and that she was wearing string panties.... The string panties actually didn’t fit with her high professional position and otherwise conservative nature, but I was not complaining.

My limited experience suggests that every RW wears them.  That is wrong, because once I observed a drunken babushka lift her skirt, revealing full bodied panties (and a lot of other stuff) :hairraising:

RW are not like AW because not a small number of AW go without panties. (:clapping: for our brave AW)

This would make for an interesting anonymous poll.

Agreed, and I would also add that stressing physical appearance is always going to bring comments from especially the ladies, and even more so from ladies who are not so, um, confident in their looks (of course no ladies on THIS forum fall into that category)... and then the flip side, men will always be 'offended' by a woman stressing money as important or even most important .. and especially so for those who are, shall we say, not so confident financially...  ;D

What's good for the goose.... I hope everyone finds whatever he/she is looking for in this life... and especially ME! because I so freakin' deserve it...  :P

True... no matter what each of us is looking for in a mate, someone else will find that desire shallow...  It is all in what we want as individuals.

Maybe you could hook up with Mars and be his "wingman".  Sounds like you might meet some very interesting women... and his "ideal" is probably different from your own.  Hell, I might want to be "wingman2".   ;D

Most (if not all at this date) do have metro systems in the broadest definition with the associated metro stations.
If the broadest definition includes "on paper" then you're correct. Try asking a local in Omsk where the nearest metro station is. Most will tell you Novosibirsk..........and they will be correct.

The first girl, well it wasn't her first rodeo. A $120 for dinner. Ouch. You need to expose this woman. She used you. Start by getting her name out there on the web. these animals have to be stopped.

Get over it man.  Its normal dating stuff and the OP is a dork for even putting himself in a situation for that to happen on a first date.  Expose.. oh my GOD what .............. echhhhhhhhhhhhh

Perhaps I should have been more clear,,, I could care less about the cost of the lunch, I've spent much more than that on many meals.  It was the unmitigated gall the woman displayed in the disposition of $30 belonging to a man she had known for less than 2 hours that got my attention.    Maybe I just view things through a different prism, but that sent up some red flags for me.  All of which is now moot since Mars has now moved on to greener pastures, but I'd say the RHG is a definite throwaway.
