As for sending your interest to men on Elena's Models -- I THINK
that you can send an "Expression of Interest" (EOI) on the page
of a man's profile?

Go to the profile page of the interesting man, and look for
"Send an Expression of Interest", and click your mouse on that ...

You can also add the interesting man to your list of "Favorites",
BUT he will NOT know that you have DONE this ...

Is my English clear?  Please let me know if you do not understand me ...
And please let me know whether it is OK for me to post your question
on the board --- in your "introduction" story -- so that other women
may answer your question as well ...

I cant find this EOI in mens profiles. For example, I have found your profile in Elenamodels and could add  you in my favourites only. But you say, that you  do not see it?

During my stint on EM I can't recall ever getting an EOI but I did recieve a bunch of letters where the women had written me first through Elena's mail system.   I would guess over 100 letters so it is possible for the women to write.  Perhaps they can only write to Platinum members or to Platinum or Gold members.

Kevin gave you a good advice above; did you follow it? Do you see the button "Send Expression of Interest" on your screen when you look a man's profile?

Could you eventually copy and paste a man's profile right here, so that we could see what features are visible to you?

Other than that, if you only recently registered, the contact options may not be available to you right now, because EM may take some time after registration for a newly registered woman to become active on their site. After some time, your profile should be featured on the right side of screen among 'this week's new ladies' and this will give you some extra visibility.

Yeah, I've gotten a few unsolicited letters and a number of EOI *RESPONSES* (mostly "Not Interested"),
but never an actual EOI itself from a woman ... I'm not sure what that means ... Maybe I should set up
a TS/TV profile there as a woman in order to help Lana ...

See attachment for what men see, I assume women get something similar if not identical. I don't remember if Add to favorites generates a notification to the 'favoree', it could be another avenue to explore .

I receive EM's list of new entries every Thursday, and don't recall seeing Lana's photo in their last list - unless she used a totally different one that I didn't recognise .

It can only have 2 explanations:

1. EM women CANNOT send you EOIs.
2. EM women WON'T send you EOIs (my offer, since you couldn't provide one).

All favoriting will do is help the guy find you.

EOI's and emails are the actions you will see.

If you are getting none of these then, after a bit, you should consider changes on your profile which make you more interesting for the men you hope to attract.

Look at some other women's profiles, talk with some whose opinions you trust and think about changes which still reflect you.

Hello Lana,

I used Elena's Models briefly and thought it wasn't a very good system for women because of the reasons both you and Lily have mentioned.

Here's a few things I noticed:

Since women can't send EOIs, some women use messages as EOIs and send them to a ton of men. A man needs to use a contact to read the message, which is usually has almost no content (something like "Hi! I like your profile. Let's talk!"). I think once a man uses up a few contacts to read a few of these empty messages, he starts thinking of first contacts from women as spam, but at least he sees that woman's profile.

Some women will write to everyone that joins up. Even with a nearly blank profile I got first contacts from about 20 women. A lady friend of mine explained the reason for this. If a woman writes to every single man, she'll get a lot of responses, even if she's not interested in them. The more responses she gets, the more likely she'll appear in the Most Popular category on the front page, and that increases her visibility to the men she really wants to attract.

Elena's models sorts women based on when they signed up, when they logged in and how often they are online. If you leave your profile online, the more men will see you on the front page in the Online Now category. If you log in several times a days, the more likely you'll appear at the top of the list in men's searches. If you update your profile regularly, you are also bumped up in some searches. If you make a new profile often, you end up in the New Ladies list.

Basically these are all tricks to get better exposure on the site. Don't worry about attracting the wrong type of men by making first contact. The goal is to be seen. Without making these moves, you get lost behind all the women who are doing what they can to boost their visibility.

These are things that work on many sites, which is one reason why scammers and hookers often end up on the first pages of a search. They're doing business so they learn how to work the system.
