in part via extrapolation.  Studios that employ webcam models have social network groups and links to their very professional recruiting websites.  I have been able to identify there are currently close to 200,000 members of those groups with about half of them based in St. Petersburg.  That is why I asked if Aloe could approximate the number of female college students in St. Petersburg.  In the cam industry it is estimated there are over 1,000,000 girls in the FSU currently working on cam, full and part time, making them by far the largest single demographic of web cam porn providers in the entire industry.. dwarfing even their American counterparts.

One might assume as well that such groups represent only a portion of the girls who are actually working on cam as well as only a portion of the studios that provide such employment.

The point is.. every girl knows about it.. many girls have either done it.. are doing it... or will do it in the near future.

I will add.. in what now is several years of research I have not been able to make a definitive connection between even one web cam studio and a marriage agency.  They are two separate entities.  However!  There are persistent advertisements on a variety of russian job websites that are very specific in stating they offer web cam work that does not involve nudity or porn.  I have posted them.. we have seen scans of  newspaper ads.. and Olga just posted more of them in the other thread.

According to Federal bureau of state statistics, or whatever its name is in english, there are 23 million people aged 15-24 in Russia, half are boys, so you have 11.5 million young girls. Even if 1 million is involved in webcam business, which i doubt, it's still less than one eleventh of all young girls. So saying 50% of girls do it is not fair and, frankly, offensive.

Hhhmmm...other than those unfortunate souls victimized by criminals and human trafficking, you will likely have an incredibly difficult time meeting a woman who sells herself simply because there's nothing good on TV.
