They are located in Sochi, Russia.

They seem legit and pretty serious , about mathcing you up with a wife.  They charge $1,500 for a 1 year membership and the women are pretty  attractive and well regulated according to them. I haven't heard much  here about them and seems like a pretty good route if seeking marriage  to use them.

Take a look about 9 subjects down in this section.  Titled "Agencies in Sochi".  Sounds like at least some people were pleased with the people there.

Domain is registered to a Calif. address in the name of one of Irina.

Didn't see a phone number on their page.  Just email.  Maybe the number was buried a little deeper than I looked.

Do not accept credit cards, maybe typical of a startup because they do not appear to be that old of a business.

Other people know a lot more for sure than I but my take would be that they are a relatively new startup business so probably not that much of a track record on their own.  Maybe contacting one of the guys in the other thread that has used them to get a personal referene would be a good idea.

There was quite a bit written about this agency on the other board before the change of ownership, some good, some bad. You takes your chances.

I would only add that if they don't accept credit cards, that I see as a problem. You get burned you have no recourse whatsoever. You deal in cash & they disappear you are screwed, period. Agencies that don't have proper contact info, visible to all on their website IMHO should be a sign to tread lightly.

By the way just because they are not listed on a blacklist site doesn't in any way guarrantee anything. I can personally point out a couple of well known ripoff agencies that are listed on some blacklist sites & on others they are a recommended agency. Nothing is written in stone.

Its been a while since I've actually been to Sochi.  I still have a good friend Yaroslav there, so I'll pm you his email and he will set you straight.  I do know that the agency titled "A Russian Romance" (ARR) has a horrible reputation, though some have actually met and married through that agency despite the ownership.  Most guys are just raked over the coals before they go, during the time they are there and after if they still do not get it............Thats any agency where if you find a girl it is imperative that you get the real contact information and communicate through you own means as soon as possible.  Over the years individuals who worked for ARR have spun off their own agency on numerous occassions, only to fail.  Sochi is a great place for a vacation with a girl.  However, costs are high.  Girls from Sochi usually are anything from small city girls.  Sochi has about 400,000 during the off months and over 1 million during the peak summer months (June, July, August).  If you come late May you still could get a decent deal.  Come June 15 prices are sky high.  The beaches are rocky, but people lay on wooden boards, which is pretty interesting and actually works out ok.  If you are looking for a really nice beach on the black sea try other areas.  Ukraine supposedly has the better white sands beach resorts but ask guys like Jack, Dan and Kevin if that is what you are looking for.  Anyway, Sochi is a two flight city ie. first into Moscow, often a day layover (not in summer months) and then one flight a day from Moscow into Sochi.  They were building a new airport in Sochi but I do not know if it opened yet.  Because Sochi is harder to get to for most Americans (which are the bulk of the men who use agencies looking for a foreign bride), agencies in Sochi do not get  the amount of Americans that other cities close to Moscow, St. Petersburg or Ukraine get.  So, the agencies have alot going against them and usually fail.  From the names of the people you mention I believe this could be the latest, greatest off shoot of ARR.  Probably, they are trying to do things right - like other agencies that have failed in the past.  Probably they have some great girls, because Sochi just has alot of pretty girls - sort of like an old version of Miami before it got big.  Sochi is a beautiful place to visit for the guy with bucks.  I came to the conclusion that it is not the best place to look for a wife after two trips there.  The girls just did not have the character I was looking for.  They were as a group as fast as Moscow or NY women.  So, if you are dead set on visiting Sochi, do your homework. 

P.S.  I looked at the owners.  I do not know any of them.  Probably as I describe above, a new agency trying - but do your homework on them.

If you want some info on the owners and on the agency you can check out threads by Donaz on the other board.  Apparently these ladies helped resolving many of the problems that the owners of ARR put in the way of him and his now wife.

I know a good bit about them.  They seem pretty legit.  If you intend to use your own translators, say this upfront to them.  I was intending my translation deposit to be used for 3 way phone and do letters via other methods... they contend that they are obligated to use my deposit for translations till it runs out.  They arent charging a ton, and its not super expensive, but it does gall me.  Other then that I have no complaints, and they seem to know thier girls very well.  THe ones Ive talked too are great.  If you go with them just heed what I said about the translation depost and arrange it upfront.

They are pretty new as an agency, used to work with another group that wasnt as nice and they stuck out on their own.

Sorry for taking so long to get here. I totally spaced it! I just sent someone a PM and looked at my prior messages, and realized that I never did respond here. So I apologize for that. And I want to thank those who sent me the PM's and e-mails informing me about this thread.

I do know the owners very well. They are very good friends of my wife and I.

They are a new agency in Sochi.

They are not pretty legit. They are COMPLETELY LEGIT!!

As far as what has been written about them on RWG I think rvrwind is incorrect. IIRC Yakboy and I are the only ones to have posted anything about them.  So I do not think anything negative has been posted about them. Although I do agree with him completely as with all agencies…do your homework!!

They do accept credit cards and payment through paypal.

For what it's worth, I can and do vouch for them. Lydia and Irina were instrumental in my relationship with the Lady who is now my wife. These Ladies do not play games. When it was becoming obvious that Yulia and I had strong feelings for each other, Lydia and Irina called me into their office. They wanted to make sure that I was for real in my feelings and looking just looking to play games with Yulia. Long story, short. They grilled me HARD.  At first I was offended and practically told them to mind their own business. Well they basically said that was fine and dandy but that they would let Yulia's family know that I was not a serious guy if I did not answer there questions. So of course I endured their third degree. They sweated me pretty bad.. They really look out for the ladies and the guys too. They have zero tolerance for sex tourists, I can tell you that.

I will always love them for the way they cared for my Yulia.

As far as translations are concerned, to me it makes perfect sense to use their service since they know the ladies so well, are psychologists and therefore they can give you great feedback on their take on any matter that may come up. Also their rates are very cheap for the industry.

We also know many of the ladies who are members of this agency. All the ones I know are sincere in their desire to find a man to love and to love them in return.

 Sochi is an unusual place for the FSU. Do to the fact that it is a resort town most of the jobs are for women. So the ratio as told to me of women to men is about 6 women to every man. Not bad odds if you're a dude.  There are a lot of party girls there if that's your thing. I think Elmer Fudd's uglier brother could score there. In the discos I did notice that the women out numbered the guys greatly. Saw some real homely characters with some very flashy babes too. Me personally, I could never understand why anyone would travel 7,000 miles for sex.. Seems asinine to me to do that when sex is so easily and readily available here in the states.

The ladies of Sochi also enjoy a better lifestyle then most that live in other parts of Russia. They do make considerably more money. I know my wife was making about 30,000 rubles a month in the summer and was able to go to her home village and live for 9 months a year and not have to work. So the Ladies of Sochi are not the desperate one looking to run from the FSU IMO.

The benefits that I see with amazingloves.com are ; they are a small exclusive agency. They do not sell addresses. They provide personal service to each member. They know all the ladies personally. They are psychologists and interpreters. They charge the ladies 500 rubles to take their photos (I think that may prove sincerity on the part of the ladies looking to join the agency) they will give you feedback all the time while you are a member.

I'll support Don on these girls.. They are golden. I have kind of a similar story, they saved my fledgling relationship. I'm still in contact with them, and whenever I go to Sochi they look after any things I need.

As an EX ARR member.... I have nothing good to say about them (In Oregon) and hope this agency is truly different as previously quoted by Don...

Some of the PIX are the same as ARR - Just a fluke?

No they are NOT ARR... They left ARR because of differences with the owner Inna McNeill.  The reason the pics look similar is that Irina Davina of Amazingloves takes all thier pictures, as she used to for ARR (Who now have crappy ones with LOADS of amateurish retouching)

So Killer-b you got stung by the ARR practices as did both Donaz and I. Luckily the girl they nearly broke me up with knew Lydia, and Irina at Amazingloves. They saved the day.

Besides the duplicate photos, their "fee structure" is pretty much identical to ARR so that made me kinda leery about it all -

Since I asked/posted this yesterday, I looked around their website some more - and find that it's kinda lacking in detailed information about the girls, rates, (and what you get for that $1500) etc etc etc - But may give it a go.... For I too love Sochi! :-)

I have a question about a comment made upthread from another poster who commented about Sochi women not being marriage material - and also being "worse" than Moscow or St. P gals... Given the "culture" and the $$$ rolling thru Sochi, I can see why one would draw this conclusion - But the poster also made mention that maybe men should hit the smaller towns - or head off the beaten path... Any thoughts to all that - and if so - Which path!!!?? LOL

Anyway - You and I are about 7 years apart - I'm 41 - and kinda looking in that 25-33 age range - still looking at having kids... So, I think that's attainable there... I hope!?

The fee is up to $1700 for full membership or $150 for 4 week trial. A lot to pay for the limited time most average American guys have to travel to FSU countries. Then again, it beats the $5000 I spent on another girl with that CON agency. Actually a bit of bad luck played in and I guess it just wasn't meant to be. On the other hand, I never thought that I would say it, but I actualy like travelling to Ukraine and Russia. The woman there are great overall. Available vacation time seems to be the biggest factor for most of us. I am in that age category as well. It is very hard to find decent 25 - 34 year old women, because all the good ones are married at that point leaving the somewhat shaky 18 - 24 and 35+ divorcees available. I think it is good that they grill the man at amazingloves.com, but that depends on how far they go. I mean to insure that the man is serious, has a job, etc, is good, but too far and it almost becomes like some of the superficial agencies here in the USA. Anyway, some good discusion here as always....

I have found one site that has a good listing of hotels in Sochi with prices varying by season.  http://all-hotels.ru  If you pick city center in the options it should give you all you need.  I stayed at Valentin just before the rates increased for the summer season.  It was $35 USD a night and then went up to over $100 for the summer (2003).  I would recommend fall as the area is dominated by hardwood forests.  Of course spring is good also as there are good wildflower and manicured flower areas.  The riparian zones along the mountain streams and the mountain valleys have rhododendrons, azaleas, lilies, etc.   

Of course if you want the beach to be fully populated, summer would be good.  The sea front walkway restaurants would be in full swing then.   The food everywhere I went was excellent, the best seafood pizza I've had, good Georgian wine.

I think mentioning something about the layout of Sochi might help.  It's about 60 miles long so obviously is more a region than a city.  Some of the women living in villages out from the central city area along the coast or in the mountains commute to town for work.   Mini busses are everywhere.  As Donaz has said they can make a lot of money in Sochi city center in the summer and then go back to lower paying jobs in more distant areas the rest of the year.  To network into these smaller areas an agency like amazingloves can really help out.  It takes time to reach women there.  If you are specific enough on what you want and communicate that to an agency or a contact who can advertise in the paper, etc, for you it will increase your chances of finding really good women contacts.  I don't know if amazingloves offers alternative services or if they only go with a set structure.  You can always ask if you have a plan you want to try out to see if they will give it a try.

Someone mentioned Yaroslav who is an interpreter from Sochi who was with one of the agencies that went out of business.  I've been out of contact with him for a year or so, his old address doesn't work.  I think his website is -  http://www.netwebsite.ru/engl.htm  The way Donaz describes the new agency is similar to the old one I used.  They didn't grill me as hard as they knew me well from my letters.  They were very honest and concerned for the wellfare of all involved.  It's a pleasure to work with an agency like this.  The more they know you the better they are at hooking you up with good matches.

Thanks Planner - For some reason I didn't get an email notice about your post - and just ran across it tonight - But appreciate your input on Sochi and the "small towns" and the girls... Sounds promising!

When I was heading there about 2 years ago - the whole Georgia war and school terrorist incident was happening and scrubbed it at the last moment (had a gal from Baku that was gonna meet me in Sochi) as well as the ARR "stuff" they'd set up... So I circled the wagons and ended up in Crimea... But am now back looking further east

To be honest, when I saw your location as "Salem, OR" I almost didn't reply - for as you know (and as you stated in your other posts) you're right down the street from ARR!! Was kinda strange seeing that - But will chalk it up to coincidence! :cool:

Thanks again for the hotel, interpretor and city help - I've just fired off an email to AmazingLoves asking some basic questions - and based on their answers - will probably bite the bullet and then head over late summer - early Fall. (Cute kid BTW in the other post!):angel:

Killer-B  Don't let little things like wars and terrorists stop you.  They're usually all the way over on the other side of the Caucus mountains, they're big mountains.  The airport is right on the Georgian border though.  When I went, SARS was at it's peak and we were about 3 weeks into the offensive in Iraq, which is about 300 miles south.  Epidemics, wars, local uprisings, airliner bombings, hostage situations, guys from Oregon, they all happen, just don't let them stop you from finding your future wife. 

Even bad people and agencies are out there.  It sounds like amazingloves is a good one.  ARR wasn't.  There are very good agencies and contacts you just have to find them.  This site seems like a valuable place to find the good ones.  When my relations with ARR went South I started developing contingency plans and met very good people as a result.  It seems where there are very bad agencies there can also be very good ones trying to compete, they usually aren't doing as well as the crooked ones, they aren't as flashy, but time seems to weed out the bad ones.  I couldn't believe the good agencies in Sochi just couldn't get clients.  ARR's website was just too good at outcompeting them.  Maybe sites like this can help us find the good options among all the choices out there.

Killer-b I stayed in an apartment the first visit, and lived with my fiancee on the second. I would advise being in a small flat. It's better for getting to know someone than the hotels which are a bit restrictive.

I'm going again in May, I might even try to swing it to be out there for the latter half of the summer. The girls at Amazing loves have some contacts for apartment rental. Depending on the time of year can be anywhere from 65USD a night up.

Yeah, seems around that time allot was happening over there - My "third choice" was to go to Rostov and met a gal and head to the mountains - and the week after that I was to be there, the rebels blew up some train in the mountains (that we would have taken!) Yikes - And of course the 2 planes that went down within hours (and lets not forget the Bush attempt in Georgia!) - So, be it Russia, Georgia or pretty much ANY FSU region - yeah - seems that is part of the deal.... Hmmm... (Just remembered the Theatre bombing in Moscow too! )  It's medium risk no matter where you go I suppose...

Anyway, moving on - Part of the problem I've been having over the past 2+ years of searching is finding an agency that IS reputable... I've punted this topic around allot on the "other board" before they sold out... and never found one... Seems for every good report you hear, 10 bad ones follow - You know the saying... If it quacks, has feathers and webbed feet - Most likely is a duck! 

Am hoping A/L is better....
