Back to how much you will spend, that all depends on the person and his circumstances. You showed the high end and I went economy class. I bet you that there are many in between. Bottom line is that it worked. Count us as one of the lucky ones.

Yeah economy class worked for you and that's great.  I think we lie somewhere low to mid average but as to the high end believe TG has that record, both in time and expense.

I probably have some sort of record on the low end, due to incredible luck as much as anything.

However, I was prepared for spending many thousands of dollars over a protracted period had that been necessary. Any who are not are simply being unrealistic, I believe.
