Getting "Real" status on Singles.ru from the states

Hard to msg anyone on there without it.  So i put in 10 and then my cell number.  No dice.  Did i miss something or can anyone help me out?  lol

Add money with a credit card.  I got real status by adding $10... but probably any amount will work.

There's no documentation on the site saying that will work but it did for me.
