Her name is ... and her only objective is to consume men.  She consumed me.  Don't let it happen to you!

She comes off with a nice story and claims to be honest.  She is many things, none of them honest.  She tells you that she is a woman of her word and once she agrees to marry you, she will not change her mind.  She lets you file a visa, and when the visa is almost a done deal, she pulls the rug out from under your feet and refuses to go forward.

She did it to me.  She did it to a man from England before she did it to me, but like a fool, I ignored the warning.  I reasoned that she loved me and would not do such a thing to me.  But she did, wasting 2 1/2 years of my life and over $12,000.00 of my money.

I gave her everything, including two all expense paid vacations in New York, and she returned the favor by sticking a knife in my back.

I filed a complaint with Elena's Models, where I found her.  Hopefully they will have enough sense to not let their fine system be soiled with this total fraud and pathological liar.  But if they do or she shows up somewhere else, DO NOT WRITE TO HER.  For your own protection, click NEXT immediately.

Where is the scam here? Sounds like she just changed her mind and it didn't work out.

Where is the scam here? Sounds like she just changed her mind and it didn't work out.

Not a scam, per se, but the closest thing to it.  She PROMISED, explicitly, that once she accepted my marriage proposal, she would never ever change her mind under any circumstances.  She then sat back while I spent $455.00 on an I-129f filing and another $108.00 on a DHL envelope to get her documents, patiently waited the 6 months for the I-129f to be approved, and then pulled the rug out from under my feet with no provocation of any kind from me.  She claimed that I did not show love and caring any more, and when I asked her for specifics, all she could say was "I don't know".  Believe me, there were tons of love and caring!

This is the SECOND TIME she did this, having put a man from England through the same abuse before.  Yes, I should have known better and avoided her like the plague once I found this out, but I didn't.  Stupid me!

So I posted this as a warning for potential victim #3 to stay away from her.  Hopefully between my warning here and my complaint to Elena's Models, she will never ensnare victim #3.

She wasted $12K of your money or did you waste $12K of your money dating her? Big difference. Second thoughts do not equate in to a scam or the next thing to it IMO

You make it sound as if you never had one good day with her in those 2 1/2 years.   IMO $12,000 is not much money for 2 1/2 years.   Just imagine how much you would have spent if she came here, married you and then changed her mind.  :(

It is time to move on.  First step is to accept the fact that she changed her mind.  Second step, forget about revenge.

Al_C,

In your defense, there are RW who have apipeline of men with whom they are corresponding, meeting, and promising marriage, and all the time getting free holidays and some spending money from each.  However, you can never proove it.  So assume a positive attitude and find a woman who loves you truly, so much that you can feel it in your bones (as opposed to your "boner").

Hey Gator, I don't even have to tell you that if GOB can remember "little mistakes" like that one, this poor RW probably has a whole treasure trove of bad memories :rolleyes2: from being involved with AL_C and his "family".

I have to say that this is an odd promise to make. It seems that you had doubts as to her true intentions even before proposing.

Well she did, again and again and again, both before she accepted and after, and she did it on the phone, in person, and in writing, many times, again and again and again.

To all you married guys, I am very happy that you found a human to marry.  I got ensnared by a succubus.  My post is a warning to the single guys out there to not believe the lies of this creature.  Move on to a human woman so this demon does not destroy your life the way she destroyed mine with her false promises.

Was the word "commitment" suddenly banned from the English language?  Even without an explicit promise, once a man and a woman make this commitment to each other, the time to change their minds is over, done, finito.  I understand this principle.  It is so sad that so many people do not.

As for me, she did destroy my life.  This is my second I-129f filing, so under IMBRA, I am done.  A third filing would require a waiver, and I cannot possibly assure a human Russian woman that I can marry her knowing full well that I might be summarily denied a third I-129f because of Elena's fraud and deceit and lies.  Because of this creature from the abyss, my dream of marrying a Russian woman is dead.

Why would she have to promise it some many times unless you or she had doubts as to whether she was sincere?

The sad part is that we are usually the one actively ensnaring ourselves in bad relationships. We ignore those little voice inside us telling us to run...

If this were the case, divorce lawyers would be out of jobs. Sadly, unless you meet the right person, the word means nothing.

Al, you are obviously forlorn and heartbroken. I think most here can relate in one form or another to that aspect but, nothing you have posted here points to a scam by this woman. I would love to extend you my sincerest of sympathies but there are two sides to every story. Changing her mind even after accepting your proposal doesn't qualify. Cold feet happens to the best of us. I have a number of times in the past experienced cold feet. The fact that you filed a K-1 is really of no consequence. Maybe she did accept your proposal too early, maybe she saw something in you later and decided she didn't want a life with you. I can understand your feeling but, exacting revenge on her is more a testament to you than her. Is there anything more concrete on her scam than just kicking you to the curb after 2 1/2 years?

Al, I did not say that I do feel sorry for what happened to you. It is never easy to end any relationship after 2.5 years. It may be trite to say, but in the long run it may be all for the best. I am sure you will find someone else and she may not necessarily be Russian. As the cliche goes, when one door closes, invariably another opens.

I don't see a real "scam" here.  I don't think there is any real commitment until you are married.  Also, $12K is not much money to spend on a girlfriend in a 2 1/2 year period--especially when she lives 7-8000 miles away.   You would easily spend that much on a 2 1/2 year girlfriend here...wouldn't you?  Maybe your earlier history with this lady helped change her mind.  It does look like you are in the K1 3rd strike category though I'm not sure how it would work.

Perhaps people are being a little harsh with Al and it's understandable that he's a bit upset.

FWIW, if I were interested in this woman, I for one would want to know that she's had "cold feet" after two fiancée visa applications to two different men... It certainly seems a little odd that she would have these relationship epiphanies only after it comes down to the wire...

Oh and I believe that we're all, every single one of us, capable of being fooled by some people. If any man had done this, he would undoubtedly be posted on anti-date.

I never said it was a scam.  In fact, I said explicitly that it was not a scam.  But it was a lie and was a fraud.

I did NOTHING bad to her beyond that one single mistake two years ago at the airport, which never came up at any time after the day I made that mistake.  In fact, when she started to turn on me, I did everything to try to save it.  I sent her flowers.  I sent her chocolates.  I sent her a stuffed teddy bear.  I e-mailed her love songs.  I sent her e-cards.  I sent her the nicest and kindest letters even though my blood was boiling.

But none of it did any good.  She already decided that I am some sort of demon when the only demon she ever saw was when she looked in the mirror.

I told her all about the first K-1 who turned on me three days before her interview date in Moscow.  She assured me that this would never happen with her because she will not accept my marriage proposal until she is sure.  And when she turned on me, she denied ever saying it.

Under IMBRA, for those unaware, you get TWO strikes and then you are out.  And it does not matter if the strikes were the result of unfairness, lies, or outright fraud by the woman, which was the case with me both times.  To get a third, you need to apply for a waiver, which is discretionary by USCIS.

So how can I propose marriage again, knowing that I may very well have to face my new bride to be and tell her that because of the fraud committed by two demons from the abyss, my government is denying a visa to a human woman?

There was a Tee Shirt that was popular long ago that had printed on the front "Shit Happens"   Al, it does.  It happened to you and we are all sorry to hear about it.

It won't destroy your life unless you let it destroy your life.  It won't kill your dream of marrying a RW unless you let it.

My first fiancee put me in much the same boat.  Let me give you a brief rundown on some of the things she did and it isn't that much different than what happened to you.   I did a K-1 and she was more undecided than she let on.  She ended up going back in 89 days.  When she got home she wrote me and said she thought she had made the biggest mistake of her life and that her keyboard was covered with tears.  She begged me to do another K-1.  I did.  10 days later I found she was making plans to make a two week visit to some guy in Germany she had the hots for.  I canceled the K-1,  That made two for me.   She stayed in touch with one of the gals who worked for me so I got some of the story of her life after that.  She met a guy from Florida.  He did a K-1 with her and she decided not to go to the interview when it was scheduled, so there were his dreams down the crapper.  Then she did a K-1 with a guy from Texas.  She went to Texas and at the end of the 90 days wanted to go home.  According to what she told my secretary he refused to buy her a ticket and insisted they get married so she did and then left him three weeks later and divorced him so there were his dreams down the drain.  I would be willing to bet she has smashed some more dreams after that.  There are messed up women out there and it is one of the pitfalls we all face.

In my case I wrote it off to experience, headed back to the FSU as fast as the jets would carry me and ended up meeting the most wonderful woman in the world.  Most things that seem like a disaster are really a blessing in disguise.   You are lucky she didn't marry you because she probably would have made your life miserable.  Count your blessings, get on some sites and meet a good woman.  There are lots of them out there.  Needing a waver is not the end of the world.
