My wifes EAD was approved on January 24 but the letter has not arrived (yesterday was 14 days) is this typical?

Will the confirmation from the USCIS website be enough to confirm her EAD until the letter arrives? She has a possible work interview this week for a very good first time job.

SoC,

You would have to check with the employer to see if the information you have now is going to be enough until she gets the real thing. I'd wait until after the interview though. No sense giving too much information up front.

Elend got the card in the mail 1 week after she got her letter saying that the card would arrive in 2 to 4 weeks.

Congradulations! 1 more hurdle down!!!

Ken

Thank you Ken,

Actually, I have an additional hurdle down. My son had his fingerprints taken this afternoon. We went to immigration about 15 minutes early and there were at least 50 people waiting. It took an hour and 15 minutes of waiting but it was worth the extra time after waiting nearly 4 months for his biometrics letter to arrive.
