British military base in Cyprus, Iran has threatened to bomb it if the UK stops any of the missiles it is shooting at Israel. However Iran has lost many of its missile systems with which to launch these missiles now although many still remain. Israel has noted that missiles shot toward it from Iran had dropped significantly last night.

Whether Iran will shoot any missiles at the rest of Cyprus who knows.

Cyprus is a nice visit I went there with a Ukrainian girl years ago, but it's likely not as cheap as Turkey. Main issue is the Turkish north/Greek south divide. Make sure understand which one you wish to go to and the different rules of entry if you go as they have different airports for each side and crossing over once there might be awkward possibly moreso for a FSW. However there are many Russians in Cyprus on the Greek South side particularly around Larnaca I found.

There is a lot of animosity from european FSU women towards muslims in particular Turks and Arabs. Many have been burned, and not just because men used them for sex, but after getting married to one as well! Lots of horror stories. In general the consensus is they are great during the courtship, the best and most romantic, but after they marry You the abuse and control starts.

I imagine these Turks and Arabs must have been fairly wealthy even if the FSW met them while they were in Turkey, etc? I can't imagine a FSW going off with a fairly poor Turkish guy, etc, as I would guess that they wouldn't see anything in it for them?

You have a good point Olga, any culture can have those that are better looking, i.e hot amongst them and of course the other sex from wherever they are from will fall for them. Often the other sex will believe whatever they say if they are attractive and only find out otherwise when potentially too late or brush it off if they feel they want to be with them.

I've seen some Turks etc in action, done can be very persuasive and have the gift of the gab. If they have the looks also then they could probably get many a woman quite easily. I even saw one English girl wanting to get with her Turkish guy and bring him to the UK on the news on TV a number of months ago. The Government had just raised the income level needed to do so which scuppered her (his) plans I guess.

I would loved to be that guy lol. However I know I am not really good looking unfortunately.

To be honest I am probably lucky to have one girl and one who is into me at least it seems to me she is.

The main time I might have gotten anywhere close to the scenario you mentioned Krim is in Copenhagen. There most girls are blonde so me as a 6ft tall brunette guy got some attention, not like the scenario you mentioned not that extreme but a good number of looks and even feeling in some quiet museum locker room that I might be raped by a group of them lol.

Decades ago Copenhagen was probably even more blonde than it is now with fewer visitors. If I had been a pretty boy instead of an everyday dude they probably would have raped me I had the feeling that they were teetering on the edge of it

Main problem with Denmark though is that it's an EU country, so Gender Equality (Equal Pay) and no issues to effect the availability of Men to Women so in reality getting a girl would potentially be hard even if a foreign guy with brown hair. Their interest probably just curiosity maybe intense curiousity but probably nothing more. Again the modern society values come into play and workplace situation like any Western Society I guess.

I wonder other than looks what's the tipping point that would get many Ukrainian girl interested in a Western guy 🤔

 So lady of Thailand came back to Moscow and that the last time I had news from her.
That's not a surprise in itself, considering her style...
So I have adopted a new philosophy which is living the moment, the future will tell me what I have to understand and to do about her.
That will come fast, as in one month she will be supposed to be free for ten days without her kids.
I told her that I have no idea how she could retrieve this visa by herself after screwing up the appeal and I proposed her another trip in a more Russian friendly country.

 
Since then  I have stopped to loose my energy to write and keep contact. In one month if I don't have any news the case will be closed   

 
As we say in France far from the eyes far from the heart.
 So I work here on something else, but to be frank, for the moment, I have no idea where it will land.

 
But globally I enjoy my days, and that's the most important.

Sorry to hear things aren't going smoothly for you here Pat.

I'm not sure if I have a good take on your situation but I'll kick this one out anyway.

I think potentially her orbit might have possibly gravitated back to the Moscow area after the visa fail. Potentially she might have gone off going abroad and might feel it's not so much an option anymore, being not able to go to France pouring cold water on the idea of going abroad.

Maybe a holiday abroad (well abroad for her in France) or wherever is not so much what you need. Perhaps it may be more needed to visit her in her home city of Moscow and enjoy being with her in her home environment..

I think potentially the risks for you going to Russia would probably be pretty small so long as you are cautious. Being a French citizen probably wouldn't be a big target for Customs so you will probably be alright. Be careful not to go in with a passport with Ukraine stamp in it of course you no doubt know that.

I just think that perhaps you need to show her that you can be a part of her life even if just in Moscow.

That or look for another woman, maybe in Ukraine? 🤔
