Wait times for US Embassy Kyiv

Hello,
 
After NVC has received all the documents and sends the visa file to the US Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine--how long is the wait time for the visa interview?
 
This is for an immigrant visa CR1 and CR2.  NVC collects all the documents and schedules the interview.

Wayne, the below info in from US Embassy Kyiv.  Couldn't find anything for K situations, but they did tell wait times for other types.

My friend who just got student visa was offered a slot just 4 days after she called for interview date, although the website said 13 days.

Wayne, I suppose you know the following: Scheduling  You may schedule your visa appointment in accordance to one of the following procedures.
Fiancée Visas:
 

• The Consular Section receives the hard copy of the approved petition from the National Visa Center (NVC).
• An Information packet is sent to the fiancee visa applicant upon completion of the final processing of the case.
• The applicant should then contact the Call Center (044-207-70-71 or 1-888-826-2340 if dialing from the U.S.) and schedule the formal visa interview.

Thanks for the information, but this is NOT a K visa; it is CR1/2 as stated before.  NVC schedules the interview for immigrant visas; you cannot schedule your own interview. I called NVC but they won't give an extimate of how long it takes.  We are tring to plan ahead as they are coming as soon as the visas are issued.

If NVC schedules it after receiving the docs,
you'd have to assume some time for them to forward the docs to the US embassy in kyiv
 
and it seems odd they wouldnt then let the consulate there  schedule the actually date and notify the  person in country.
it doesnt seem clear on their website whether NVC does this or the consulate.
 
Either way the best source for information timelines like this is to go look at visajourney.com
 
Search members with visa's going thru Kyiv, and those with Cr1/2's and compare their most recent time frames.
