Next week.

Does Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Austria count if I'm traveling with my FSUW?  I'm guessing not  :( ...

Hey Salty, with your lady's new visa stamp she can leave and return anytime, no? If so, you may not realize it but it would be very advantageous for you and your relationship to visit soon. Meet her family, friends and familiarize with her environment. It will help you connect some dots and understand her better. You got very lucky with her ability to travel to you but, I would recommend not using it as an excuse not to visit "her world" so to speak. Besides, you might find that you like it.  ;D

Hi FP - actually, it's the reverse...she got into the country just in time before her visa expiration date expired ...she was granted up to a 6 month stay...but if she was to leave the country before then, she wouldn't be allowed back in unless she files and gets another visa....hence why I'm waiting so long to goto Russia.  I'll put this in another thread.

This is always  a source of confusion, and rightly so.  A person can legally stay in USA after their visa has expired, as long as they are within the time limits stamped on the  I-94.

However, if they leave the USA, they cannot return on the expired visa, even though they are still within the time stamped on I-94.

Similar but even more relaxed rules apply to student visas.  With student visa, they can legally stay in USA after visa expires AND after the time stamped on I-94 expires IF they continue in good standing at a University and get an updated I-20 which is given by Universities.

The above applies if they stay in USA continuously.  But if they exit the USA, it is a 'whole nuther ballgame.'
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

I'm flying out Tuesday afternoon to Kiev and meeting with my fiancee there on wednesday. Over the next two days we will be getting the paperwork we need in order to get married. Once that is done its off to Dnepropetrovsk where we will be married on Saturday.

We are just having a RAGS wedding with the close family members in attendance. We rented a section of a restaurant where we will all go after the ceremony for the banquet. She said she has too many friends to invite to all of this so we are going to go out later that night to a club and meet with all her other friends there.

After that the immigration fun begins! Wish me luck everyone!!!

Well I am here relaxing, meeting friends and new ladies. In fact I would say I am at a loss at who to meet, I am being invited all over the place by friends here aswell as meet new people. Met 1 new lady so far, has possibilties, but a slow burner. Nothing in much of a romantic sense has happened so far. I feel she is a cautious person. Time will tell.
I will do an overview type trip report at some point, throw in some pics.
