LOL! Excellent post Jumper.  And boy does THAT sound familiar.  Little did I know at first how much my "relax fit" wardrobe was detested.  After the initial dating period, I heard something along the lines of "everything you wear is too big! Why you don't buy clothes to fit you? I will buy clothes for you".  LOL.  Fine with me as I absolutely do not care and just one less thing I have to think about while she JOYS in making me look good (probably so her friends won't think I'm a complete social retard).  She did buy me a few things and I must admit, I looked better when she dressed me (big surprise there).  So then I got "Who knows style better?"  But, I looked distinctly European.  Ah well, when I need the "classic look" for business,

So, while this doesn't apply to Handy here, my suggestion is to let your lady have at it.  You'll probably look better and have one less thing to think about.

If you think it's bad now, wait till you get married.  ;D I always thought I was relatively sheik with a decent fashion sense. Apparently I was always around the "nice Ukrainian folk" mentioned earlier in the thread that never bother to tell me, I actually didn't.

I sometimes feel like a schoolboy having to pass inspection before I walk out of the door some mornings. It's not as bad as it sounds but, she does insist I look my best before leaving.

For Ukraine it would appear to my eyes that pointy shoes are still definitely still in fashion (for evening wear). I haven't see any ladies wear snub-nosed shoes out there.
Maybe they can't afford them yet ;), they're definitely 'in' here. Some good-hearted WM should send a few $100s over to bring them up to current fashion standards :D.

Actually that is not a T-shirt.  T-shirts have sleeves.

You're interested in Dana? She's not too expensive at 2,000/2,5000 R per hour, depending on SPB location: http://www.spbnimfetki.org/ankets/373/.

Bon appétit ;D!

Compared to "dating" a pro dater/scammer, a true bargain and probably a breath of fresh air to get exactly what you were hoping and paying for instead of suffering the equivalent of Chinese water torture.

Mies, I'm afraid I am rather traditional/conservative in my tastes, I think there is a fundamental, inner beauty in some classical proportions represented by the ratio between shoe length, height, etc. (the mathematical golden ratio?) which were definitively spoiled by long-pointed shoes.

I was not able to find significant visual examples for you, since most of what is now shown online represents current trends - snub-point shoes are an improvement, albeit not completely satisfactory to me.

For example, since I was a teenager, an always popular type of shoe here was represented by ballerine (ballet dancers'):
Informal, simple, casual but normally requiring a lithe physique and a certain height for effective overall visual balance. IMO, elegance shuns extravagance ;).

Material is also important: leather, of course, natural or shiny, but I think that sateen is VERY elegant for formal evening shoes.

Luckily you're on that boat to handle the thread drift, eh?

That Swallow's Nest restaurant was definitely touristy overpriced.  So many things to do and see around Crimea.  Castles, Mansions, Castlemansions, age old military ruins, natural splendor, and, of course, ladies everywhere this time of year.  What else is on your schedule?

Take off to some of the smaller towns if you have time - two of my favorites are Partenit and Gurzuf, though there are a gazillion or so others.  Those somewhat off the beaten path places (though, nowhere really is off the beaten path in summer) are very cool places to hang out for a day or two. You'll meet ladies right and left, up and down, and sideways when you hit overload.

One of the aspects of Crimea that I really love, and I've mentioned here before, is that there is a very laid back attitude with the locals.  I guess you need some luck to find them though this time of year. heh.

Have a blast!
Dave

Every time I come here I know I have only seen the tip of the iceburg. It's a case of open one door only to find there is another 10 doors to go through. Its no wonder National Geographic have it in their top 20 places to visit in the world. I believe they say its a place for the "Savvy European Traveller".

Yep I will agree there is defo a laid back attitude here in Crimea. Maybe its because its a big tourist destination for Ukrainians, Russians and Belarus. I have to fly back on Monday and like always I don't want to leave.

Someone mentioned about wearing something that showed the Union Jack flag, to break the ice. Well it seems the the Union Jack flag is big fashion this year, wherever I look people have it on their t-shirt or hat, or even as ear rings. I know the daughter of a friend loves the Union Jack, and has done for quite a while. At first I thought it might of been to do with Royal Wedding, but no, it's just a case of people like it. Sorry to the people of the USA, but Britain rules here  :P

I just been out to the "White People " club here in Sevastopol. I was told it was expensive, it seemed ok to me. Maybe that was because of the free drinks. Anyway I wouldn't recomend it, for me it lacked atmosphere, more of a look at me kind of place. It just seemed abit pretentious, had the usual over possesive meat head stood near his girl like she was his property, and no-one was allowed near her. Some I just felt I had seen more warmth in a block of ice. Something I have noticed in my visits is that UW have become abit jaded with WM. It appears if your a western guy, your seen as one of them horrible Sex Tourists, until you prove otherwise. Some of which I have witnessed tonight.

I did think of hiring a car this time and driving myself, but I was talked out of it. Not so much because of how people drive here, hell I driven in Milan and thats fun. More to do with the Police here and the good old bribes. But every time I been out in the old taxi ( now if you read my first ever trip report you will know I have experience of taxis), I never actually seen any or if I have, they have been ok. It could be a case of perception is more than reality. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and just do it.

What else can I add here that could help a newbie. Well forget the hype, as been mentioned numerous times before. Get in physical shape. People here take pride in how they look, although I have noticed just in the past 2 years that waistlines seem to be expanding. That damn Western influence taking over again. Regarding agency girls, I have been told numerous times to forget them. Yes there might be a small percentage who are honest and sincere, but it will be like finding a needle in a haystack. My impression of UW is that they are intelligent, and do not suffer fools. If you think you can come here and show your passport, a fistfull of money and believe they will come running, well you better pull your head from out your ass, because you ain't that special. By all means throw the cash, but there will be only one winner, and it ain't you. I am sure the FSUW members will correct me if I'm wrong.

So only 2 days left, why is it that time flies when your having the best time.

Climbing a bit higher from foot level, I should mention stockings, too :D.

A VERY long time ago, I used to supply regularly my then fiancée with some nice German nylons (as I recall, they were called Dansilar), and they required garters, of course.

The transition between the stockinged and non-stockinged part of the leg was exciting then, and the smooth and rather oily feel of the nylons was completely killed by the later, more convenient but rough-to-the-touch tights.

I'm not old enough to also have experienced the feel of silk stockings :(

I have read many of your posts, which I find intereting and informative, where do you get your info from?
But I am curious, are you looking to meet an FSUW as it states in your info you been looking for 3- 5 years but never been to FSU, if not, why not?

Sandro,
Check out their top 10.  They have photoshopped photos of model Denise Milani from Czech, who now lives in California and has never done nudity or anything approaching what this outfit sells.  I guess the scamming goes on and on...

Simple, almost never an interesting enough case to warrant the excursion , I only came close to that some 5 years ago for SPB, but it suddenly and unexpectedly went downhill :(.

Rubicon, I'm rather well aware of that, if you peruse a page on my website (http://www.floriani.it/sitirussi/doublegallery-eng.htm), you'll see at bottom a list of 23 Triple Dealers, i.e. girls (MOBs and hookers) using in their profiles the photos of models from all over the world, mostly from the US (Playboy being a major though uncredited supplier).

In addition, I also have a further 120 models now used by hookers, but not yet by MOBs ;). When that will occur, I shall post an update to my specialised thread (http://www.russianwomendiscussion.com/index.php?topic=1598.0)

Dana is not (yet) on my list, so she can be quite real in SPB - let me know if the contrary applies ;D.

BTW, I usually rely on Tin Eye (http://www.tineye.com/) for these verifcations.

I'm happy that I made a decision in January (actually before I decided to have another go at finding a FSUW) to get in shape and lose bodyfat. Wasn't overly fat at 90 kg. but have lost 15 kg and 17 cm (7") off my waist, so I don't have to be embarrased to go to the beach  :D

Pretty impressive Natural!!  I've also been working out, but not yet as successful as you.  I've lost 5 lbs in the last week.  I am 6 foot 1 inches, currently 225 lbs.  I want to get back into my best fighting shape which is roughly 205 lbs.

Well, if you lose 5 lbs a week, you will reach your target very soon. What kind of training do you do Rubicon? Besides watching my diet, I do weight training 2-3 times a week and a 45 minute fast walk to a small mountain now and then. Doing physical work around the house in the summer also help immensely. I'm 5'10" and now 165 lbs and some people are starting to worry  :D  I guess it's because my face get so much thinner in the process. I still have 4" to lose off my waistline before I'm there, perhaps the most difficult inches. I should be pretty close to six-packs by then I hope.

PS Rubicon, if you get in your best fighting shape, please don't practise it in Ukraine  ;)

I think your weight is just perfect where it is, you don't want to get to be too skinny.  At this point just tone what you have, no need to lose anymore.

I am doing weight training 4 times a week, as well as treadmill work at the gym. I am soon going back to my TKD classes as that is an awesome workout and I enjoy the camaraderie of being with the master.

No, I'm not planning to get entangled in anything in Ukraine, as much as I can have split second reactions to such events I really hope I do not encounter anything like that and if I do I hope I can leave before my emotions erupt.

Thankfully I don't drink so won't be in any bars unless a lady friend wants to go to a disco and then I hope we go with several people so that there will be little chance of anything happening.
