But the fact that there is a much larger pool of single, available, marriage minded, slim, feminine, attractive women in the FSU than in the Western countries makes this venture worth persuing IMO. With 1/3d of American women being obese chances of finding a slim, attractive woman in Russia are a lot better IMO. All other human qualities need to be carefully examined on a per person basis.

The difference between AW and RW to me are like Bass and Walleye...

Fishing is one of my hobbies so I can comment.   Bass have a big mouth and grow big around their middle.  Walleye have big eyes and are sleeker, but have sharp teeth.   The bass puts up a better fight, but both are good to eat.

   While I disagree with gator and believe walleye give the better fight. You can see that walleye are longer and sleeker. Where bass are shorter and rounder about the middle. I’ll leave it to the individual posters to decide with description fits which ladies RW vs AW. For the record my vote is Walleye = RW Largemouth Bass = AW (for obvious reasons).

They speak a different language. They eat food much prepared differently. Different takes on religion, suppressed politically, different take on self preservation and child rearing. What else? They need Eduard to to discern good from bad?

Excuse me? Where did I ever say that "no American women are worthy"? On the contrary I always said that there are many very nice, family oriented, kindhearted, beautiful American women. However the vast majority of them are either married or in an LTR. The ones that are single we can argue about, however the argument would be a bit silly because the pool of single women varies greatly from city to city and region to region.


And which country and lifestyle am I degrading here? Wow, we must be living in 2 different universes.

Driving: I can personally attest to the driving skills of one particular woman who having taken some driving lessons in her (flat) home town for two weeks was found to have been driving an automatic with virtually no brakes at all. The roads there being straight she found driving along the straightish coast roads  of the Cote d'Azur reasonably familiar. However trips up the foothills of the Alpes Maritimes were altogether another story. The vehicle was involved in a collision with some masonry and a communal postbox.  It took an hour so to recover the vehicle off the masonry back to a local garage where it was eventually declared a write off.  The proprietor made a rather dubious decision to[size=78%] lend the driver a courtesy car.  This was shortly to be involved in another collision with the foothills of the alpes in order to avoid a head on collision with a 4WD overtaking 5 cars at a time on a mountain road.

Stubborness:  On a scale of 1 to 10 .... a perfect 10.  Absolute and total conviction that that ones own opinion is absolute fact.  Such as advice regarding the efficacy of more than two weeks of driving lessons before scaling the alpes maritimes switchbacks and 1in 5 slopes.  Just because one has paid good money for a driving license in the FSW, it does not equip one for les alpes.

Microbes: they are everywhere  .... well true but really not as fatal here in the west as their reputation seems to be in the FSU. But Gawd help you if aid and abet their propagation into the home.

Brands:  My FSU cleaning lady kindly folds my washing, including my Marks and Spencer cotton   underwear. Every week I spend 3 or 4 minutes turning them outside in as they are  neatly folded inside out with the labels on the outside.

Money: It must never be mentioned, just supplied in copious amounts and regularly and with no appeal regarding the speed or route of its disappearance.

Alcohol: Steer clear of Tequila. it might look like vodka and when mixed with OJ taste totally innocuous, but I have not met a FSUW who can drink more than few doubles without   becoming alarmingly comatose, which is counterproductive. [/size]

Sex:  One shouldn't generalize with such a small statistical sample but there seem to be quite a few examples of Victorian primness in some circles.  See microbes above, any correlation? 

Food: I have never seen such slim young ladies put away more food at one sitting than in Kharkov and Moscow.  I was reliably informed that the ladies in question in Moscow had suffered a couple of years of hardship when they could only afford to eat meat once a month. That must be why they ordered two main courses plus sides at one sitting. Moral of this tale is choose all you can eat buffet deals on side trips to the Indian ocean resorts. 

Clothes: in Moscow or Paris the FSUW is absolutely immaculately turned out to the point of polishing the shoes each day on the way out to dinner. However get them back home to slopsville, and the competitive edge seems to dull in line with the local standards. Infuriatingly this does apply in Slopsville if the FSUW is going out to meet another FSUW; the warpaint and brands then have a second life. 


Fur coats and climate control: its true what you say about Air conditioning but in in winter nothing les that 38 degrees C will do so be prepared to have the energy bill doubled in winter and halved in the summer if you have 4 seasons in your neck of the woods.

Of course, you can pin the blame for your date's appetite kicking into overdrive on the excessively hungry piranhas living in her stomach or on some health problems she experienced, but first review what  you were doing in-between meals! Perhaps, you undertook some sort of  adventure appetite whetting activities with your date?     For instance,  a romantic walk in the park with a genuine gentleman may well be capable of triggering a spike in a woman's appetite, I promise.

It wasn't kicking into overdrive - she told me that she always ate like that!  We did quite a lot of walking on a few days (sightseeing), but nothing that even a faintly fit person couldn't handle with ease.
