Well....

As one of my fave lines from a Foo Fighters song goes.... "Done, done, onto the next one"...

For those following my saga - "Houston, we have a problem...."

Sent her a New Years wish - received a prompt reply... Days later - wished her a Merry Christmas - and got nada - and she's been silent ever since...

Been at these too long to get fussed over it all - but - I must confess that I really had high hopes for this one... Very well may be that something happened and she's lost communications - but after 2+ weeks and a few short probing mails gone unanswered - think it's time to move on... sigh...

The upside is that I found someone (while researching the region) in the Barnaul area that is also of interest - so we'll see aye - Early days...

BTW - Am not one for agencies or the AFA's of the world - but 'somehow' I got mysteriously registered on "www.partner-in-life.com" ... Heck, even my username is some long warped hex code - but when I Google around - I find nothing about them (think they're in Nik?) could be wrong about that too... Of course I'm not keen that they've lifted my profile from some other site and bastardized my name and info - but - tripped across a few there - not your usual spammy stuff - Just curious if it's worth pursuing or not? (if anyone knows anything) --

Also, what happened to the infamous "Jim's List"??? Hadn't been on there in years - and now see a full-fledged APOLOGY to HRB of all people? Suspect they sued him for libel or slander and prevailed? Again, just curious -

Cheers all -

Barnaul is nice city and some really nice people there. You will enjoy it.

Something tells me you're gonna hear from just about the time you are getting to board the plane ;)

Thanks for the tip and support - It does actually seem allot like Colorado in topography - and the gal that is interested wants to learn to downhill ski ;) so that certainly helps! (she stated this long before I ever contacted her) - Early days still... so we'll see? Cheers

Killer B-

Just read your report. Bummer, sorry about that! It's good that you seem to be taking this in strides, and at the same time, I hope no harm/hurt is the cause, and/or the result, for either of you.

Good luck!

Cheers GQ - Appreciate that - Guess when you've been at it so long, it kinda makes it a little easier to swallow - but still... :(  Here's hoping the next one works out...
