Surprise !

  Just learned today that my 22 year old niece, Katya, was granted a business visa to visit the USA. It's good for one year, multiple entry. Originally she was to apply for a tourist visa but she latched on to some "advisor" over there (whom we don't know) and went the business route instead.
 
 As some here may remember, her mother (my wife's sister) has been denied a tourist visa twice - and truthfully, is a far more likely candidate to not overstay.
