Today in USA, in Russia, in Ukraine, where there is about a 50% divorce rate for all marriages, I am proud that my marriages over two years old are at an 78.8 percentage mark.  Up until about three years ago I was at or a little over 80%.....

There it is again! Impressive! 78.8%!  788 couples out of a thousand? or 78.8 couples out of a hundred?

Of the 78.8%, what is the percentages of marriages vs tour attendees in the same period? Would you say 150 couples out 650? What's the percentage for that? Of the tour attendees, what's the percentage between individual and party tour participant, maybe an equal split of 63.6% vs 36.4%? Or is it closer to the middle, like say, 90-10%?

Of these numbers, what was the slice between divorcees or never-marrieds? 58.45621% vs 41.54379%

What is the success rate (percentage) for couples the first 2 years? 85.62% 97.4%?

Of all these numbers, do you happen to know what the percentages of those that are doctors, lawyers, pilots, etc...23.3%, 46.76% , etc...?

You think doctors have a 91.675% better chance at success than say lawyers? What's the success rate (percentages) for someone who holds multiple degrees? 98.93% perhaps? What if the doctor also have his own clinic, would it affect his rate of success? Maybe 99.7%?

What's the success percentage over 2 years for say plumbers? 45.2365287%? 63.715468%?

Of all these numbers, how many of them hunt with you?

Just curious..

My guess:

26 of 33  = 78.78%, rounded to 78.8%

There is only one problem.

Y'all are posting with too few words. In order to remain true to the intent of this topic, it is necessary to restrict your posts to NO FEWER than 200 words.

Would 78.8% of 200 worlds be acceptable?  :D

Yes Shadow, based on my seeing NOTHING of any intelligence written by ade, I was wondering what you saw intelligent wise that I did not.  And you did not disappoint me, as seeing your reply, I think I was quite correct when saying

Again,.....

..... and in this case I am 100% correct.

Sorry Shadow, I will continue to do as I have done since RWD's first day in operation.  I do not have time to read all post's, all threads.  I will continue to read post's from those men who I think I can help or that i can learn from and pretty much skip those post's of individuals who I think offer nothing of value education wise  (like you)  unless I happen to read over them if they are close by to post's i do read.

I think it's quite obvious to most the readers here who has put there paw in there mouth by the claiming of ade being "spot on" to  anything he wrote.

Now your beginning to sound like ade, speaking out your arse.   So since when is writing ONE pm a load?  It appears to me you are again, as you are so often, mistaken.

I thought a load would be more than two, wouldn't you.   I wrote ONE pm, not aload.   ONE pm Shadow to you because I wanted to make sure you saw my request.  What on earth you could possiably see that ade wrote that was  "spot on".   You did not disappoint me.

Again Shadow I will point to the quote below.
tl;dr.
No it is not a dog. Its really how I look.  ;)

It's cheating - but I suppose it counts.

Go for it.

Yeah - that's kind of my thoughts on the matter too. Takes too much time to sort it all out with a tit-for-tat response. That, and then nobody reads it anyway.

Yep - my whole family!

Me - ex-wife was six weeks older  :D  (does that count?)

Next brother - wife is eight months older (been married nearly 30 years)

Next brother - wife is two and a half years older (been together nearly 20 years, married only for 5 due to Irish law not allowing divorce from her first husband).  Brother tells the story the same way as Buddy Holly - "the first time I saw her I said - that's the woman I'm going to marry!"  He didn't think it would take quite so long.  :o

Next brother - partner is a year (?) older (been together 12 years)

Sister - not sure, but she and her husband are pretty much the same age (married 10 years)

So, no huge gaps in the family, but I do know one couple (married for 30 years) where the wife is about 17 or 18 years older.

I did. My first FSU Relationship was with a woman who was 18 years older than myself.
I was 28, she was 46.
She was no cougar. She looked maybe 30, and never told anyone her age. When people found out, they did not believe it. nor did I.
I met her in LA when I was 18.
I lost touch with her until 10 years later, we started a romance together.
We were together until the day she passed away, 6 years later.
She was an exceptional human being and I miss her terribly every single day.

That's very sad and touching, I mean that. Posting it in this silly and petty thread doesn't do it justice.

I did when i was 33, she was 47. We were practicing high sport together. We were having the same passion about this. She was a beautiful woman.
I had had also a crush with a woman of the same age at this same period, i was believing she was 36 in fact she was 47. I kept in touch with her a very long time. She was very cute and very sweet, but she had not finished her mourny of an other man when i met her. Her own doctor said about her that she was biolologically minus 10 her age.

Since I was about 15 I dated many RW who were older than me. The two most memorable, when I was about 17 I was seeing a 19 year old beautiful girl for about a year. I was also seeing another woman who was 28 with a little son and yes, she was married to a pilot who was away most of the time and I guess she liked to play with young boys. I found out from a childhood buddy that she seduced him too after her and I stopped seeing each other. He is a couple of years younger than me... She was an absolutely stunning looking blond that I used to fantasize about from age 12 or so. We lived in the same apartment building and I used to see her all the time just passing on the street. And when she hit on me at age 17 I couldn't resist... I was just a silly teen at the time. She told me that she only married her huband because she got pregnant, but she didn't have feelings for him...

Then when I was about 20, already in the States my first American girlfriend was my next door neighbor who was a 28 yo psychologist  ::) Her therapist insisted that she would break up with me because it wasn't healthy for her to be in a relationship with a 20 yo boy... so she did after a few months, and then I met another AW woman on the beach and she was 34... I dated her for one summer and then left for Boston to go to college. From that point all women were younger than me :) ))

I actually think it was good for me to be with older women at that time.
