I would think it would take many trips back and forth visiting just the one chosen, preferred lady, to develop a commitment.

Correct.  And the first step to developing a commitment is learning whether the two of you are compatible.  This takes time with American woman, and it should take even more time with a FSUW given:  language barriers, cultural differences, the differences one would expect with a disparity in age, and the fact that most FSUW have no idea about life in America.

It is interesting to not the many ways that the middle men / broker cluster F$^& does not serve the interests of the client.

Today the AFA tour breezes through this little town ... yes, ladies and gentlemen, again we will see the best and brightest suitors make an appearance with a cattle call of would be brides.  This is poison for the well intentioned!  The women have been BEGGED to show up, and even then the turn out is going to be low.  A new policy requires the women to bring a copy of their passport.  Seems like a good idea, but there is great concern here about identity theft.  So again, turn out will be poop.

There are a million other small examples.   Having a guy stay at an apartment 15 minutes out of the center of town so somebody can make an extra 5 - 10 bucks a night.  PFFF it is BS.
USE this boards to get the info yourself. Dont be a mark

A good point and it's one of the reasons to guys should consider avoiding those cities that AFA and Anastasia go to. People get greedy and corrupt too easy.
