Normally in the US, game is referred to as more lounge action, how one "works" the room, targets his prey and closes the deal with the target. The ability to impress and have choices as opposed to settling for whats available.

When a young latina (twentysomething) "dates" an older gringo (forty or fiftysomething) she does it out of desperation as clearly described by the op when he mentions the "brutal class system."

I'm always surprised with the gringos who venture into Latin America and know everything about them after "vacationing" for a few years. To me that is the epitome of ignorance and arrogance.

Or expressed from another perspective, if you are at least an average looking woman,  you can always get a man to pay your bills.  Make sure he is married so that he does not linger afterwards and prevent you from having fun with your boyfriend.

I can't remember if I mentioned this before but, in Latin America if you can't/don't/won't dance, you'll never date. Well, the dating that we know as in going steady. Dancing is part of the social structure of mate hunting if you will.
 
Therefore, ANY man who wants to be successful with las chiquitas has to be a good dancer, and I don't mean what gringos refer to "dancing" to the tune of rock and roll.
 
Many moons ago I had a good friend in college (in PR) who was originally from Bahstan. Very nice gringo and always wanted to learn more about the island. It was an uphill battle but between my friends (guys and gals) we taught him the basics so he could defend himself on the dance floor. Boy, was he lucky with the ladies.
 
Which reminds me, very similar to Ukraine (the view of dancing latin music.) Can't say about Russia because I've never been there BUT, I can imagine it can be the same.

I took one month dance classes - everyday.  It was the best investment I ever made, and I began to really enjoy it.

Meeting Latinas?   Language exchanges - even online sites.  Universities.  I always stayed a month, or longer ... so I would put an add in the paper for a private Spanish teacher, or work with the universities in the English department.  A,most impossible to find a good woman in Medellin, Colombia.  A little difficult in Cali.  Easier in cities that do not get much gringo traffic.  I know a couple jewels, but I do not want to promote them:)

Tourist cities, and bigger cities are BAD to find a good girl.  It is best to go to university towns in the Caribbean and Latin America.  Again, it TAKES TIME to find a good girl.

Not needed to visit for a week.  To find a young woman, yes.   
 
Grand city.  Many expat Americans live there, but not that many to change the place.  If you go as a tourist, take the Tequila Express train tour.  Arrange for someone with a wheelbarrow to collect you at the end of the tour and deposit you at your hotel.  I have a great photo of a RW with mariachi band.  Must look for it.
