I really thought that last post was going to be my LAST post.   But, I have received a ton of emails, so I thought I should restate and add a little more - to clear the air.

1 - Jack Bragg did not make a move to harm me in the real world.  His tours are as good as tours get.

2 - None of the ladies here that appear to be on a vendetta against me here, moved to harm me in the real world. (as far as I know)

3 - I have more information on the person that jumped out of this fantasy world, and perhaps did harm me in the real world.  But it does not matter now. The only point is that some people (many) people do not know the difference between a discussion board and the real world.  People say and do things on the internet without the same degree of judiciousness that they practice in real life.  There can be consequences to otherwise meaningless posts (I think that many of you need to be reminded of that).

Irina - She is as close  to a perfect 10, inside and out, as I have ever met.  The fact that a man can have a chance with a woman like her through marriage agencies is something I highly doubted several months ago.

Agencies - Frankly, ALL the agencies I used in Ukraine were excellent, especially the ones I used in Poltava.  Great people.  I spent time with the owners, and did not just pick out 20 pretty pictures.  I never behaved as if I was "buying" a wife.  I tried to be a gentleman and kind to everybody I came into contact with.  If a person takes an honest look in the mirror, and is ready to have repeated trips until trust is built and the process is complete, I have to say that everything is possible (but not fast, or easy).

Maybe it doesn't matter now who "harmed you in the real world"   :-\
What really matters is to understand the motive that guided the "squealer" in his/her deed.
Riv,  have you any guesses ???

You miss my point entirely (I hope)

We see people say things here, and apply judgement that I doubt they would do in the real world.   The Real World is a place where consequences are more concrete and understood.  There is a difference!  Things said here, on the internet,  are often half backed and heresay. That is why most civilized societies have rules in courts of law.  There are no such rules in courts of public opinion.  And, most importantly, people's basic behavior changes on the internet (Again, I hope).

This thread sounds like a big excuse you have concocted for yourself.  You had found an attractive lady that considered putting up with you, and you blew it somehow.   All this crapola about her being near a ‘perfect 10’ and somebody on the board blowing it for you sounds like more high school silliness.   Move on, and be upfront with the next lady about yourself, and be grateful somebody much younger is in such a situation as to where she would give you a chance.  Remember you are a relatively frail thin man rapidly heading to towards the AARP years, the fact that you are able to find a nice 30 year old is a bonus.

Pragmatic point.  But Tim had already decided that the two of them were not compatible.

Oh the drama.

My money is on that you would be one of the worst said offenders. Some woman 20 years younger than you, has kicked you to the curb and there just must be something other than you are a middle aged creep? Someone dropped a dime on you? You made the accusations. Are you going to provide a smidgen of proof or just continue to condemn the forum for your *cough* unfortunate circumstances?

I think the Riv guy "decided" this even before he met her.

I should note that I have seen for a few RW that photos can differ remarkably, as if they were taken of different women.

Me too.  And I can even 'one up' that situation.

Corresponded a little with a gal in a particular town that was a 2-3 hour bus ride away  from  the town I was actually going to be in for a long business trip.  She was going to come to me, but it fell through for unclear reasons.

About 2 years  later, I was actually on a business trip to her city, so sent her a short email asking if she wanted to meet.

Email came back with a 'sure.'

So we met.  Nice looking tall slender gal, seemingly same height, weight, color  hair, age etc. as the  gal I had  corresponded with, but just didn't look like the same gal in face.  I  compared pics many times and friends looked and we all concluded it's not the same gal.

Even different names, but she passed that  off quickly  as  using different name for internet dating, which  is not uncommon.

She was able to discuss some  things  about  what we talked about 2 years ago.

We went on several dates and progressed to intimacy.  I am still in infrequent email contact with her.

Pretty sure that the original woman passed me off to a friend of hers.
The real clincher is that the first gal had adult son and dau, while  this woman has two adult daughters.  Could  have been  typo by first gal, but a long shot.
I never pushed her on the issue,  but still quite curious about the circumstances, of course.
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

i am very sorry to hear that.  you did not deserve to have that happen to you.

to me, the trip reports are probably the most interesting threads on this board, and they can be helpful for those guys starting out.

it would have been better if your relationship with irina had been able to progress naturally without outside interference.

Jason, this seems to be quite a leap. I don't see anything at all there pertaining to riv  and furthermore  no connection that riv is buccaneer. WTF did this come from?

look at the dates on those comments about alex pinto (january 2012).

those comments were made far in advance of rivardco's trip.

give it a rest.  the complainant (buccaneer) is not rivardco.

I don't recall if I mentioned this before to RWD.  Soon after returning from Ukraine, Tim came to our home and brought some champagne to bribe the Cossack woman and her daughter for advice.  They both told him that he should disclose the nature of his business including his specific services for the adult entertainment industry.   They also suggested how he should followup with Irina.  He replied that he would no longer pursue Irina.  So it was over between them a long time ago.

Tim, a question for you.  Did the "rat" communicate with Irina while you were still in Poltava?  If so, that could explain Irina's cold response to you.  Imagine if you had told Irina early in your trip about the unsavory parts of your business and had preempted the "rat."

In life we encounter many opportunities.   Frequently we make less than optimal decisions, thereby preventing us from achieving our dreams.

Tim, you have learned a lesson to not disclose personal information on the Internet, even in the mostly friendly and clubby RWD.  Have you learned a second lesson, to be forthright?

Riv knows the name of the RWD member who squealed.   The rat's motives can only be guessed.

I still believe Tim should disclose the name of the rat if the rat does not come forward soon.  For sure it will create controversy, but no more than what Tim  fomented during his trip.

To the rat:   I wonder if you are man enough to explain your actions and motives.  Your absence here suggests not.   While I will not reveal your name, keep in mind that we can presume Tim told a few others.  So your name will come out eventually.
