Lucky 13

Well, we've been married for 13 yrs now and we've never been happier. We've definately had our ups and downs but we worked through things and lately it's been up. Honeybunch has been teaching AP Calculus in an area high school and has become a local phenom by turning a failing program into one with a 98% passing rate. Honeybunch says it's because of her superior teaching methods but personally I think it's because these little horndogs never had a math teacher that looked like her! Keeps them paying attention!

Stepson has been doing very well. He's been clean and sober for almost 2 yrs now. He graduated college and now has his EE degree. This was our biggest area of contention. The warning signs were there from the start but as is typical, honeybunch had a blind spot when it came to her son. He could do no wrong and I was being a big meanie for pointing out his faults. It was only when things became woefully obvious that she finally came around. Fortunately he didn't kill anyone, however multiple DUI's are a MAJOR immigration issue and can get you deported post haste. We are still dealing with this. (Although he's been here for 13 yrs he hasn't gotten citizenship because of alcohol charges)
Life has its problems but when 2 people  are dealing with them it can be handled.
