Racerx, you are correct that I was considering annual figures, but I think this is not unreasonable as we know that if the information on Elena's Models website is correct then we need an active population as follows to support that volume:
(2000/5) * 100 = 40,000
Being the number of K1 visas issued divided by 5 (the lower percentage figure suggested by Elena) multiplied by 100 to achieve the 100% figure, giving a total population of 40,000.
The number is truly tiny and is only increased substantially if Elena was severely overestimating her success. I think that it may well be that she is particularly successful, but if LTP's quoted figures are also representative then I think that figure works. Frankly, I do not think many women will remain 'active' for much more than a year or so of wither not receiving letters, or receiving loads and getting no visitors. They join the list of profiles maintained because the woman has not died, gotten married or requested her profile be removed. But let us assume that the 'average woman sticks with it for as many as three years, that still gives us a maximum figure of 120,000.
No matter how one slices it, when one knows the number of K1s, one can estimate the size of the market and it is tiny.
Most of the profiles one is looking at are duplicates, fakes, out dated or otherwise bogus.
