           Thanks for your warning about yet another dodgy girl from yet another dodgy PPL site ,and i agree with all your postings.
 
You will have noticed that some "experienced" people on here will argue about anything,loving the chance to belittle someone they consider a newbie.
It's normal,so don't take it personally.
 
jone's comments were spot-on in my view.Anybody tempted by the glamour girls of ANY pay per letter/chat sites should pin his comments above their computer.Read those comments before you get your credit card out.
 
One thing i will add to those comments is that the girls/agencies have got wise to the fact many men would prefer to contact newer girls,so they delete their profiles and set up again under a new id number,thereby creating the illusion to new male members that they are new girls also.
 
Here's a comment posted on another forum on 17th of this month,not by me,which sums up the MOB scene rather well from my personal experience.

One of my rules when traveling is to come as close to the locals as possible and avoid tourists with the idea that all locals are out to rip them off. People trust others like they trust them selves.

Really, you are oversimplifying the issue and omitting the fact that there is money, insincerity or possible fraud involved.  From a Western perspective this is unacceptable but thank you for sharing the Ukrainian/Russian perspective that ignores the money spent to meet a lady who appears to live in a different city than the one she represents to those who pay to correspond with her.

I really do wish you well and am not attempting to argue. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't part of the letter writing process a function of finding out where she lives? I can't imagine anyone corresponding with a lady and never learning what is her city and some information about her life there. Am I missing something?

If a lady failed to give the info then either the man is simply writing letters to a staff of letter writers at the agency and the lady is not real (or unaware that her profile is being used by that agency).

If the lady really is writing and omits that info after several requests, then I'd agree on moving on to someone more serious.

Should any man pay for the three letters required to then buy her address, possibly buy airfare, pay for a hotel and waste his vacation time, you have described the attitude which he will encounter from the Ukrainian police:  the lady just changed her mind, so there is no fraud or crime.

There is a minimal investment required for this process, and I'd limit that to letters and some Skype calls. I can't possibly imagine a guy buying a plane ticket to go meet a girl with whom he's not had plenty of personal contact via email, Skype, etc. Of course a lady can change her mind, just as you can change your mind. If the preliminary relationship has been built with ample personal conversations via phone, Skype, and email, is it common to land at an airport only to discover that the lady decided not to show?

One of the foundations is to have a backup plan. While I can be sympathetic towards a guy truly jilted after having done plenty of due diligence in the beginning, can someone who didn't spend plenty of prep time blame her for a vacation wasted because he had no backup plan?

You have my admiration and my sympathy.  My admiration because of your effort to disclose that there is something smelly in the MOB community.  But you have my sympathy too.  Because NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, IT WILL NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE.  Any solution to this industry must be taken as a matter of state and will require country imposed sanctions.  Something that we can discuss in future posts but better yet in private.  Your thoughts have not fallen on deaf ears.

If you can live with the fact that neither the Russians nor the Ukrainians care one whit about bringing to justice the scammers that are all too present in this industry, and join our little society and learn and enjoy friendship with men and women who believe that relationships work between FSU women and WM, then you will have found a home.  (If you think the MOB industry is bad within Ukraine, you ought to see some of the other scams that run through various different industries.  Makes our niche look like penny ante stuff.)

We are good bunch of guys and gals and your posts show concern and intelligence.  Understand that EVERY ONE OF US went through the same evaluation process of the MOB sites before coming to the exact same above conclusion.

It is for us, the remaining on this board, to realize that we are here cumulatively to advise each other and share common experiences -- because the end goal of a good relationship between FSU women and WM is a powerful combination.   I, personally, welcome you and hope you stay around.

P.S - Loved the Cockroach and Spaghetti analogy.  I won't be eating spaghetti for awhile.

One of my rules when traveling (and I travel frequently) is that we, the Westerners, must stick together so the locals don't rip us all off.  I am happy to share my experiences to help others, since I learn from theirs.  I guess you just don't get that.

i place a high value on my time, and was merely suggesting that you might want to consider doing the same.  and that advice is as good as any help that you've received here... but evidently not the help (or encouragement) that you are seeking.

Narcissistic personality disorder
Description

A good place to begin a discussion of the different theories about narcissism is with the observation that NPD exists as a diagnostic category only in DSM-IV-TR , which is an American diagnostic manual. The International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, Tenth Revision ( ICD-10 , the European equivalent of DSM ) lists only eight personality disorders. What DSM-IV-TR defines as narcissistic personality disorder, ICD-10 lumps together with "eccentric, impulsive-type, immature, passive-aggressive, and psychoneurotic personality disorders."

DSM-IV-TR specifies nine diagnostic criteria for NPD. For the clinician to make the diagnosis, an individual must fit five or more of the following descriptions:

    He or she has a grandiose sense of self-importance (exaggerates accomplishments and demands to be considered superior without real evidence of achievement).
    He or she lives in a dream world of exceptional success, power, beauty, genius, or "perfect" love.
    He or she thinks of him- or herself as "special" or privileged, and that he or she can only be understood by other special or high-status people.
    He or she demands excessive amounts of praise or admiration from others.
    He or she feels entitled to automatic deference, compliance , or favorable treatment from others.
    He or she is exploitative towards others and takes advantage of them.
    He or she lacks empathy and does not recognize or identify with others' feelings.
    He or she is frequently envious of others or thinks that they are envious of him or her.
    He or she "has an attitude" or frequently acts in haughty or arrogant ways.
