how do I verify an address in Dnepropetrovsk?

A young lady gave me her street address in Dnepropetrovsk. The street is Michailovskaya st. So far, I can't find it but I don't have a comprehensive map. What's the best way to verify the full address without spending a lot money? Can I get a good street map of Dnepro in any bookstore in the US or on the net?

Send her a post card ( I met an address Dnepropetrovsk Mihailovskaya street ( in some advertisement) in the Net but can't find this street at maps as well May be it's just too small)

Are you sure that she is from "Dnepropetrovsk"... it is possible that she is from "Dnepropetrovsk oblast"...

Several ladies in agency use the near city name for location when they life in village around these main city... and the reason is very simple... when men make a search for a city they wish "visit", they are able to find these women who live near the choosen city...

Do you have her post code ?

Go to www.cindyagency.com and send her an inexpensive gift or flowers and ask for a photo to be taken for proof of delivery.  I've been to this agency in Dniper and they are real.

You are right,  it is an old trick, but effective. All this for under $50 and 30 minutes of your time.  This $50 is a rounding error when you compare it to the $10,000 to $15,000 total cost of courting and immigrating your special love once you find her.

Hello Eric, was wondering if you were able to verify this ladies address?  If not let me know and I can check for you in about three weeks as often during the day I like to see and visit different parts of the city that are off the beaten path.

If you don't want to wait three weeks then I would offer an opposing view to BC, as I often do, with regards to his oldest trick in the book claim. Not sure what trick he is referring to but on average some 3 to 4 times each week in the FSU we will deliver a rose or letter and take the ladies photo to verify that she does live there and what she  look like.

The 'gift' with a picture deal is a cheap shot.  ElenaG offers a competitive and discrete alternative -I have mentioned this before in several posts.

I did consider offering 'rose with a picture' deals to RW but decided the 'bust' factor would be to great..  the only country I know of where citizens instal switches to turn off the doorbells is the US.

One, your recommended method does not show us the photo Tatiana has been sending John is 8 years old, when she did look hot. And two, we have also used the phone check method many times and still use it today, but almost 35% of the time the information is wrong. Many times the phone in the flat belongs to the flat owner who has moved, has sold the flat or rents the flat out.

I just put the URL of a Dnepropetrovsk map in WIKI (RWD Resources - Online City Maps). Street search is in Cyrillic : any good for you ?

I concede that my reasons for using such service was not for verification purposes but I was surprised with the amount and accuracy of the info provided.  Of course, as with any service YMMV.

When the flower delivery man takes his photo's do they check the womans ID?  I'm pretty sure professional scammers have the flower for picture routine well covered... at the same time supplying their own florist/gift shop downstairs. LOL.. that would be a riot.. 

I figure there are probably some shady flower delivery services too.  Even asking an agency to deliver for you might just get you their standard ugly duckling pic and 'better' recommendations from their catalog of girls... along with their delivery bill.

The longer I think about it the more I am convinced that the only surefire way to go is to stay away from this business.

Sorry for not responding earlier. It seems the address was real. I tried to deliver roses to the girl but it seems she wouldn't accept them. The florist was able to reach her early on and was going to make the delivery but the girl called back and said she had an emergency so the flowers were not delivered. The girl said she would be gone for a week and promised to call the florist when she returned but she did not do that. The florist repeated called her cell phone to try to make the delivery but again it seems the lady was unavailable or simply didn't want them.  The florist had the post office leave a telegram on her door for several days but the girl didn't pick it up. This went on for almost 2 weeks and it did include a holiday. I found all this behavior suspicious and odd. I have never heard of a woman refusing roses. Maybe the girl only had a passing interest in me or was hiding something. Any comments? Do scammers usually give out a legitimate address and mobile phone number? Supposedly she has found someone now and her email to me said we didn't match. I see her profile is no longer available on the agency site. I was not able to confirm her picture but the flower delivery would have done that.

Eric there are many possibilities why she would refuse. For the sake of avoiding paranoia let us think that she was not interested in you. Move on, happy hunting.

Its very odd but it seems girls there tend to just cut off communication instead of actually telling you that they are suddenly unavailable (taken) or no longer interested.  Of the 6 or 7 girls that I've contacted (and not pursuing any more), only one actually told me she was claimed to break off the contact.  Very annoying but I assume they have their reasons.  In any case, I'd hate to invoke cliches so Shadow's response sufficies for me.
