Quite amazing that she smiles at me the first thing each morning, most of the day, and the last thing at night.  Never a bad mood.  These qualities are a lot more important than a beautiful face; although she has that also.

Of course, it is rare to find a woman (or anybody) that is beautiful on the inside and out ... with a good, cheerful disposition.

But, it is a great oversimplification to suggest that there are not quality women - that are beautiful and slender in Eastern block countries!  I enjoyed Bratislava very much for example, and could find a woman there with relative ease if that was my aim.

I presume you mean to say that women from outside Eastern Ukraine are not very very very economically motivated?

I do not seek such a compromised situation!  I have dated women in the USA that are ALMOST in the same age and league as the women I dated in Ukraine (albeit, with kids, and scars, and careers, and a rather strict list of "preferences" (demands)).  LOL

And, I do not see ALL THE SO-CALLED BENEFITS of living in the USA. Indeed, if it were not for my family and close friends, I could easily do without the place for longer periods of time.

Besides, I am happy being single. If that changes, it would be a good thing, for the better, I would have to presume.

Tim,

I traveled to Hungary in 2007 to meet some ol' friends with the Netherlands embassy.  I combined it with a trip to meet a RW residing in Budapest.

Budapest is a proper city.  I enjoyed the countryside.  I rented a car and the RW and I drove around for three days in the hills and lake country.  I did not see a golf course so I would be troubled living there.

One can tell a lot about a country based on how people drive their cars and share the road with others.   The Hungarians drove in a civil manner, probably better than me.  While trying to exit Budapest, I made a couple of quick moves.  One Hungarian lowered his window and yelled something at me.  The RW knew Hungarian and said the driver called me a mudak, much as would be expected in America.

nice story, Gator.

I enjoyed that same area last year at this time.  Of course, my experience last year took me to Ukraine ... which is a fine place too.  Obviously, Ukraine is a country that has very heighten set of possibilities for a would be suitor.   But, there are other countries too.

Please post an ongoing TR from Hungary once there.

BTW, this song was big in the USSR in the early 1970's.  The lead singer, though born in The Hague, was of Hungarian Roma descent on her father's side, Russian and French on her mother's.   I thought it would be suitable here.

Oh boy.

I remember when this song came out in '70. It was so popular back then.

You know the chorus "Ahhhh" starting at 1'.51" was very similar to a Camel cigarettes jingle running in PR.

I also had a physics teacher who was Palestinian and said he lived in Egypt.

Well, Camel + Egypt = let's make fun of this guy.

Also in those days very popular were the 9V AM transistor radios.

So, every time the song would come up during that class I waited for the chorus and then raised the volume as high as I could. Everybody in the class would join in.

I swear I gave this guy an ulcer.

As a matter of fact, I found the teacher in Facebook and he befriended me. However, he will NOT reply to me at all.

LMAO
