By all means entertain yourself any way you please but realize, you are probably just one of 50-100 on a BAT! email list. It's probably a dude and anything you write isn't going to make a dimes worth of difference. Often these folks are fairly computer savvy and prolific. They have your email and likely know enough to give you a headache of some sort.

Things are going well with Ekaterina, very well and I would agree that, at least in it's written form, the warmth and sincerity of her letters is much more telling than her poor sentence structure.

If a lady doesn't allow you to talk to her, it's not going well. When you communicate with ladies and want to take it to the next step, ask for her number and you'll find out real quick how important you are. I prefer phone numbers over Skype because a guy can call at random times instead on of a scheduled meeting. If a guy is important, a girl would want to hear his voice anytime of the day. Be respectful and not call a woman at work or bedtime.


By talking to a lady you can gauge her enthusiasm for you even if she doesn't speak the same language. She will have excitement in her voice and even giggle when you're not telling a joke. Write a bunch of ladies, make a bunch of phone calls, then visit the one who seems most interested in you. A scammer may give you a phone number and be enthusiastic when you first call but a scammer will soon tire of your calls unless you supply money.

I was a member of Fdating and I met the best man there. So, no one ever know where one meets his ( her ) love. And why do you not feel "warm and fuzzy" about free sites? Were there few scammed men on paid sites?

IMHO, a good scammer will troll all the sites. If I were a scammer, I'd want to be the best at it.  Yes, folks have been scammed on paid and free sites alike.

You caught a scammer.  It seems she has been caught before and mounted as a trophy.  So it is best that you forget about her and use your energy to find a good one. 
 
There are bad people in the UK who will scam and cheat you.  There are more in the FSU, so many more as to be part of the culture.  Such is manifested in different ways, e. g.  a high degree of corruption in FSU government vs. Western governments. 
 
Nevertheless, I met many honest people in the FSU.  When someone has retained an honest character in such an environment, it speaks volumes about their core values.  They are the "keepers."  Having said that I have noticed honest RW doing something I would question yet they thinking it normal.  Such examples are usually minor, yet  still bewildering to me.

Well, it is normal to them, if it is normal for the society they live in.

But always a question as to when a person will start thinking something is normal.

There are always bad things going on around us.  What volume does this have to reach, and for what time period, before we start thinking it is normal, and then OK to start doing ourselves?

Ochka tells me many bad things that people  do in Ukraine, and proudly proclaims that her parent's and other family never do such things.

But yet she told of doing homework for pay for others when she was a student, and thought of it as just a job; and OK since many others did it also.

Here I agree with you, Faux Pas. There are also chances that the girl in the photos even doesn't know her pictures are used by somebody else. Happens a lot.

To waist the time on chasing the scammers and playing with them, of course, is a personal preference.

A limerick, and I assume you wrote it.  Clever man, but why the comparison with chimps?  Sandro knows much about every subject, so I thought it best to look it up.  Googling on primates and penis size I learn that chimp testicles not penises are large - large sperm factories are necessary because chimps "make whoopie several times a day with several different females."  Another example of the important stuff one can learn by reading RWD.

Unfortunately the stress is on the wrong syllable ("HI-nny") and therefore cannot rhyme with TennessEE (trochee vs. anapaest foot) - we classical poets are very picky about proper versification .
