On the flipside of the "there are absolutely no legitimate agencies in Ukraine" is a place called reality.  There are a few.  I don't think you'll find them in big cities (Kiev, Kharkov, etc.).

Good Marriage agency?   Well the best I can do is throw out a couple that when I last knew were better than many.  I would suggest Kherson Girls and Cindy Agency.

Turbo, Cindy Agency in Dnepr doesn't work any longer (perhaps you have better informations than me), the office closed two years ago. I wouldn't rely to a site which don't have an office when it is time to meet real girls.

For a newbie i recommend ONLY marriage agencies with a cross cultural couple involved.
A western guy married to an FSU lady in FSU, or a FSU lady in USA or Europe married with a western guy.
There are SOME nice agencies.

There are decent RW in all marriage agencies that actually have RW.  You will find that many agencies actually steal photos from other sites and actually do not have RW in their agencies anymore. 
The key is to find a RW that is a good match for you and you are a good match for her.  If you don't speak good RW, then your dating pool is a lot smaller as you should not meet a RW who does not speak good English.  Without common language your rolling the dice on whether 5 years later you are both a good match for each other.

I see no interest to use an agency in new zealand as go between which OF COURSE uses local agencies.

Do you know one western agency who has and offices in the west AND in the east ? i never saw one, except the cross cultural couple who use two adresses sometimes.

If you think logically, there are NO reasons to use go between because they offer no assets.
As 95% of agencies are in FSU between not professional and total swindlers, WHY you should add second layer of suckers ?

NB ; people  like interpreters, Eduard, Jack, and all events promoters like Mark Davies don't belong to this category.

The problem with the industry and therefore many of the contributors to forums is that they cant see past what has been the norm for many years and write negatively about anything different.
In fact most contributors write negatively about everything - a forum seems to be a place for negativity.
The dating industry in the Eastern bloc is full of scam and almost every post on these forums will tell you so.
Who better to make sure that the expectations of a western man are met when using an Eastern dating site than a Western man!
I own the site and I live in New Zealand. I have 2 business partners within Ukraine who ensure that what Western men want is met. We set strict criteria and we stand by our promises.
To say that there is no use using an agency in New Zealand is no use misses the point and also the fact that I dont have an agency - I work with Ukraine agencies and ensure they stay genuine.
That is what every western man has been looking for for many years and I decided to provide this service.

Where do you think a site should be based? New Zealand is the least corrupt country in the world.

If your most trusty partners are from Odessa/Niko/Kiev, where are coming girls from others cities ?
So i have one simple question ? How are you sure that those girls who belong to OTHERS agencies out of your partners are genuine ?

The main criteria for me to use an agency (i don't speak about sites free or montly fee) is that girls BELONG to this agency, and that agency have NO affiliates. And i would meet in this agency ONLY the local girls. Because they know them, they follow them and they have a feedback on them with theirs customers.

Do you know one agency who would say "i work with non genuine partner". The only think that western agencies offers is "guarantees, 100% antiscam, strict honesty, not corrupted", but this is ABSOLUTELY unverifiable and this is NO proofs. The only proof you can have are customers' opinion on site like this one or tripadvisor for example concerning travel. The rest is a bla bla.

I have not a negative opinion of agencies, i used them 90% of time and met my wife in it. I  even defend agencies in forum, but ONLY the 5 % who are trustable, MINUS  ALL western agencies, except the cross cultural couples who owns a business in FSU dating.

When i started my search, i met an agency like you : i was absolutely confident about her (and she belonged to the cross cultural couple category). But when i realized that the profiles in her agency i can find it in the FSU agencies which were their partners. I thaught : "why i would be so stupid to pay twice the same service, why i have to go to the postal office to send some money for each contact, why i need to multiply the delay to write to those girls ?". More people in the chain, less results in the end. I want to meet real girls ASAP.
 
And this is the advice of many OP here : go directly to the girls. The whole MOB business is a barrier between real men and real girls, more people involved, more barriers.

Men, consumers, people, needs to REASSURED (the art of capitalism is to persuade you to buy something that you finally don't need or can get for less). I would say, the guys who need a service tailor made, sitting in their sofa, having delivered girl at home, or being totally grandfathered. i can understand (some guys have also no time free but they have the means).
But normally this adventure is NOT for them.

When i started my journey i was capable to say three sentences maximum in english i one shot, but i learnt the language and i am also learning russian. Just to tell you that dealing with FSU agencies was not a free effort (as people here are mainly english speaker they forget how it is more difficult for europeans to go in FSU, because of the language) for me. But it was the way to go : use local FSU agencies  and surely not western ones.
Costs of one of the mayor french agency is paying you two travels per year.

I have checked your contacts in two cities i know very well : Dnepr and Kharkov.

1/ I met three weeks ago a professional terp in Dnepr, in two years the two mains agencies closed in this city. SHe told me : the others agencies are crap.

2/ Harkov : Atlantida. I tried to deal with them late 2011. A total and complete crap.
They were having no office (may you show us a scan of their business diploma ?). They tried to sell me : a driver will pick up you. A driver will pick up the lady. A driver will let you at home. A driver will let the lady at home. Am i enough disabled to not come pishkom ?
When i told her that it will not happen like this she insisted about the security that agency provides to the ladies (yes i am going to murder the interpret, the lady, and the agency girl and the driver of course).
Finally when she understood that i was not going to be milked she told me : "i can give you adress of HONEST agencies in the city". 

Atlandita : is the crappest agency i dealed with.


So you are not dealing with only honest partners believe me.

I went to your site and randomly chose Love2Kiss in Kherson. Within a matter of a few minutes I found that they were are also known as 'Trans Agency' (same telephone number and email address). The following advert tells me all I need to know.

Funny you should mention it, I randomly chose a few of the photos to do a google search and most of them came up matching to A foreign Affair (Loveme.com),  and several other PPL agencies.....

I can see the potential of independent smaller town agencies but how does one find them? Are there other ways to find them (in any given city) other than Internet Googling of a city? I've tried this approach in the past w/o much success.

Make a search through this site, to get customers' opinion and you will sort some valuables agencies. It needs some work but it worths it.
