UK TV Development project NEEDS international couples!

Please take two minutes to read this post as we really hope you can help with this very worthy project:

A major UK broadcaster is developing a brand new and exciting interview based TV format, filled with warmth and charm about men from the UK that have found love online with, and subsequently been fortunate enough to marry a beautiful, loving and intelligent woman from a foreign country. The plan is to develop a format that talks to such couples to help popularise and celebrate international marriages.

In a one-off interview we’re offering couples the opportunity to reveal what makes their partner special and talk about the wonderful details of their relationship and how it has enriched their lives. Above all, we want to show that such relationships actually work!

Someone else from the UK was also calling out for such participation on this site not too long ago. About maybe 2-3 years ago..

Anyway, have you folks consulted Tyra Bank's production crew and get their consensus how well these things actually do?

Dont worry on that for sure, I know exactly what you mean. By the time I have finished no guys in UK will want any local women Well of course if I was to be on TV.

Thanks to all those who have got in touch. It is worth mentioning that there is no obligation to take part yet and all calls will be in confidence. I am looking to speak to UK men in particular. Initial apprehension from members to get in touch is understandable but our genuine intention is to develop something that does not conform to what has been seen before on the subject. Our intention is to celebrate international marriages and show viewers how people's lives have been enriched by a long-term relationship with someone from overseas.

A very worthy intention but, with the best will in the world, you will be fighting an uphill battle with the networks.  Haven't you heard that they only want to show "bad news" documentaries (or, as they're referred to here, "train wrecks")?
 
Also, while the focus of this board is obviously the former Soviet Union, are you intending to look farther afield?  There must be plenty of British men who have met (on-line) and subsequently married women from all around the world.

I have never seen a good documentary about anything Russian. Even if there is a small clip of say Moscow it will be of some poor bugger starving to death and making the most of a potato in -40 conditions.
When it comes to the US they always seem to show the stereo  type guy/family living in 3 bedroom semi, two kids and a nice car (The American dream) Its funny you never see some filthy dirty suburb in LA or the filthy tramps sleeping in the parks. Maybe they moved them on since I was last there:)
