and to be serious, I can understand americans, millions of their taxes were spent on Maydan and now it turns it was totally in vain. What can I say - I'm sorry guys :D

Please offer just one shred of proof to your statement? Oh that's right, you can't. You are an excellent parrot of the Russian control state media though. You must be very proud and missing the heavy hand of communism  :D

There are shortcuts to happiness and dancing is one of them.

I do resent the fact that most people never question or think for themselves. I don't want to be normal. I just want to find some other people that are odd in the same ways that I am. OP.

the undirect proof would be tapped nuland conversation about who'd be the new president, no?
In fact there is no need neither in direct proof, nor in indirect. People on American forums already yeaterday were discussing the topic how masterfully their goverment hides information from their citizens. And these words were said by americans, not brainwasged russians ;) So, time will show to those the most retarded the proofs.

C'mon Renetka, you're smarter than that, usually. That proves nothing.

So the other day it was "all in Ukraine know" and now it's "these words were said by Americans on forums". Doesn't take much to convince you, does it?

Add it up any way you want, it is an Invasion of a country.
Blame or make excuses how ever you wish.
Putin is rushing laws to make it legal.

Whats that saying, "Careful what you wish for. You may get it"

Don't envy me darling. You'd be wasting it. It's me that pities you and your lack of ability to recognize any truth because you've been told different and because of what Americans say on forums. Believe what you wish. In the boogeyman and the man behind the curtain conspiracies, it makes me no difference. I have no skin in the game. It is your neck where Putin is looking to place his foot, not mine.

His ideas aren't very good and his argument isn't very logical.  I think he is taking money from Putin.

“After three visits to Ukraine in five weeks, Victoria Nuland explains that in the past two decades, the United States has spent five Billion dollars ($5,000,000,000) to subvert Ukraine, and assures her listeners that there are prominent businessmen and government officials who support the US project to tear Ukraine away from its historic relationship with Russia and into the US sphere of interest (via “Europe”).
Victoria Nuland is the wife of Robert Kagan, leader of the younger generation of “neo-cons”.  After serving as Hillary Clinton’s spokesperson, she is now undersecretary of state for Europe and Eurasia.”  Diana Johnstone
Hear Victoria Nuland’s very concise, almost victorious speech:

The same Victoria Nuland who got her man in position in Kiev, that she discussed with the US Ambassador to Kiev. I'm sure it's all just a misunderstanding. Washington works tirelessly to establish democracy around the world. Just one example, Saudi arabia where USA has military bases. This ally of Wahington is a prime example of a free and democratic society that respects human rights, womens rights and all kinds of rights imagineable  :P

If anyone thinks that the US is taking an aggressive foreign policy in Ukraine, you are on crack.

the US is losing this conflict.  Barack said to Ukraine: "Ukraine, you are on your own."

Uh-oh. . .

"Putin's motion loosely refers to the "territory of Ukraine" rather than specifically to Crimea, raising the possibility that Moscow could use military force in other Russian-speaking provinces in eastern and southern Ukraine where many oppose the new authorities in Kiev."

Fathertime,

I thought of several ways to respond to you.  I of course wanted to be eloquent but brief.  I think at this point the US can do a lot to save lives in the cause of peace and freedom.  We have to be involved.  Now our team in Washington may not be up to the diplomatic challenge but we have to try.  Do you agree?

Hey LT, first off I can sense that you have a real strong opinion about this, so I appreciate you speaking to me on the subject and hope I don't offend you by stating my own opinion which is obviously quite different.  Since I do respect your opinion I'd like to hear more from you and the logic behind what you are saying.

I see no harm in working behind the scenes in trying to broker the most peaceful solution possible.  Our representatives haven’t a leg to stand on though…we go intervening in numerous other countries, and then demand that Russia can’t do the same when it is their neighbor where many many of their people live.    Our growing debt is 17.4 trillion, from my perspective it is no money, no troops, and no hot and hypocritical air.

My impression is our army is supposed to be a defensive army to defend us, not to be roving around the world every time a  convoluted conflict happens…We don’t have crucial interests in the area, but Russia clearly does and with the situation being muddled, a significant % of the Ukrainian people want Russia to intervene and do not like that there has been an illegal governmental takeover…to me it looks like we are going to try to stick a finger in the eye of the Russians.  We have no business being there or expelling much gas about it.
If we look back into history 150 years ago, we will see that the world was full of 'great nations' building colonies and empires on the backs of weaker nations.  We look at it now and think, "how the hell could these 'great nations' have been such dicks" (at least I do)...I think decades from now maybe in the year 2065, people will look back at the USA and say "Who the hell did they think they were?" going around trying to impose their will in conflicts 1000's of miles away, where they had no great interests. "It is no wonder their empire crashed".

Billy, your post is very reasonable in fact. Nobody idealize Russia even here, where everyone supports it these days. In fact, the choice being made now by people is the choice of less "evil" between two. As to Crimea, nobody takes it by force. It's we who are begging Putin to take us.

You are correct Crimea is begging Putin to take it and most people there think Putin is the better choice.

By the way, those who mentioned that Russia's actions are illegal. Today MID announced, that all actions of RF on the Crimean territory are legal and are part of joint russian-ukrainian military exercises, coordinated and approved by the legal president of Ukraine, Victor Yanukovich ;D

Putin isn't happy with Yanukovich but he needs him to act like the legal president. First Russia will get permission to have joint military exercises, then Russia will get permission to take back the all of Ukraine and reinstate Yanukovich as it's legal president.

Justme, you are entitled to your beliefs in politics but aren't you disappointed that Russia put in a Ukrainian president who robbed billions from the country? This is real money that could help and serve the people of Ukraine. If Yanukovich robbed half that much and gave half to west Ukraine to help people there have a better standard of living, I don't think we'd be in this situation.

Ukraine isn't Georgia and the actions of Russia will have some reaction. I'm not sure Obama is a strong enough president to do anything past sanctions against Russia or just Putin but if it comes down to war, stay safe and take care of yourself. War is ugly and can last for years and if America goes up against Russia, it'll be a big fight in a small country. I just hope both countries refrain from using nuclear missiles.
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.
