I wanted to delete the bridesandlovers.com because I have had enough for 1 month as my membership expired.  I wanted to delete the profile but it seems that they couldn't let me.

3 days ago it says "your profile will be deleted in 24 hours"

3 days later, my profile is still there and I kept receiving notifications all the time!   It is p [snip thing] ing me off!

Actually it's best to delete your own profile before it expires. If one can't do that, take the photo down and change all the info pertaining to yourself.


Those websites don't work hard to take down people's profiles. They need to give new customers the impression that there are tons of people utilizing their site. Men and women won't sign up if they knew only 5 people of the opposite sex are active on their site.

I have already taken off my photos 3 days ago, and actually it will be expired tomorrow.  I decided to end it 4 days earlier.  (I meant it expires tomorrow not already)

The worst thing isn't about deleting my profile.  They kept sending me notifications when I have already ticked not to send any more notifications along with deleted my profile.

I received like 100 notifications a day !!!   (Good job it isn't my main e-mail)

If you can get back into your account, change your email with them before it's deleted to one you don't use. Everybody should have an email account to handle junk mail.

I have just done it - to my old e-mail that I have never used.  Hope it works and hope not to receive any notifications to the current e-mail.

I realised that it wasn't "interest" - it is more of that they had viewed me!

I have had few men "interest" in me only because they looked at my "Travel2Together".  I doubt they are interest in me, but obviously had viewed me.

Is there anyway to change that?

On reference to you not being able to delete your profile , there is a option in the "Notifications" tab, it gives you the option to delete your profile, very simple. Click the button and your profile is deleted within 24 hours. I have noticed your profile has been deleted? Or are you saying otherwise?

As for Bridesandlovers.com being "Useless" thats your opinion , and you are the first person out of thousands that have been unable to remove their profile.

What nonsense !! Bridesandlovers.com IS the most transparent site on the net. And ALL members asking to be deleted via the "Delete my profile " Option ARE deleted!!
In 5 years you will not find one such complaint about this issue anywhere on the net, other than this one.
On top of that we have no need to keep members once they wish to leave, we have not 5 but thousands of active members weekly, and all genuine members.
Please do not mix up Bridesandlovers.com with the rest of the crap out there!!

I was joking about the small print saying CDW's profile being owned for 10 years but don't get defensive. Your customer said your company told him his profile would be deleted in 24 hours. Didn't happen. You need to have a talk with your staff, not ridicule your customers in an open forum.


Also why is CDW getting 100 notice of interest a day? I've never got that much attention on free sites where the girls have to do their own work writing to men. You've seen his profile. Is CDW really hot?

Bridesandlovers.com is a very busy site with between 1500/2000 new women registrations per month they out number the guys considerably!
Any new guys will get a fair amount of interest for the first month, and that interest is genuine! Not just a few hundred women visit the site each day, but thousands.
If you go to Yandex.ru and search the most popular search words such as "Dating sites with Foreigners" (Of course in Russian) Bridesandlovers.com has top positions. Hence many women.
we send a daily update out each day to the women keeping them interested.

Everything is sorted out now.   I had changed into my old e-mail that I haven't used for a long time and it works.   

Despite of couldn't get my profile removed earlier, the Bridesandlovers.com is still a very good site, value for money.  For $30 (ish), unlimited of e-mails, you get all sort of women - genuine, scammers, 'African'.   You need to work out for yourself.

In my whole 1 month paid membership, I only received 2 'African' people but they were quickly removed, compare to about 10 a DAY from latinamericancupid site.

I could stay for another month until I have found a lady, but my target plan was only for a month!  And move on.....

This site is definitely one of ML's methods!

Suggestion "click" for flirt or show interests.   When people looked at my profile, it doesn't mean they are interested in me.  That's why I received so many notification saying they are interested in me when some of them weren't.   !!!  lol

The site is one of the only "Nearly" scam free! And yes we kick them of pretty fast!
